My goodness Literally u are G.O.A.T❤ sir no one had thought me till now(i am in 11th) that the area of rectangle is assumed to be lxb. I am searching for the proof of rectangle's area from at least 2 years and so many teachers were giving me nonsense things like rectangle is made up of 2 right triangles😂 and as u said byjus line method. Today I literally feel enlightened😊. Thank you so much for ur efforts ❤❤

@@Search957 actually the area of rectangle is assumed or defined as (lxb) to initiate the concept of area and all geometrical figures area is derived from that.

@@Search957 area is a physical quantity which gives us the power of comparing how much something's surface is covered or how much this surface is. for example if u made a rectangle on a table of side 1m and 1m then as per definition it's area is 1m sq. Then after u made a rectangle of side 2m and 2m then it's area will be 4m sq. And u can say that the amount of surface of table occupied by 2nd rectangle is 4 times the surface occupied by 1st.
