Those cougars weren't cubs. They were sub adults. And the little call they do to eachother after the aggressive female runs away actually is a call a mother does to her cubs to call them over when they are far away. I hope this didn't sound rude! Just trying to clear up these facts!

Cougars aren’t actually sub adults until they leave their mother, I used the call because their wasn’t any hiss emotes, so I was just improvising.
