It’s appears as though Mei & QiJi’s play bouts are shifting to a different level. They’re becoming closer in size so Mei isn’t always letting her boy win. She continues to teach him the way of the Panda, she’s such a good Mama. QiJi seems to be getting more comfortable with yard 3 as well, with lots of territory to explore & mark. Great footage Tai, l love that your added in Tian Tian too! Thanks for sharing your time at the Zoo .. have a good week Tai :)

I agree he's the happiest panda or at least second happiest! Mamma Mei may be the first one! 🐼🐼❤️ After successfully weaning 3 Cubs before him, she is definitely in no hurry to be alone again! She seems to relish their closeness, even if he gets overly excited and she has to bring him back in line. 😁 I think the keepers both at SNZ and in China are equally considerate of how seperating them could adversely affect her. He really seems to keep her young and definitely fit! Both their quality of life is improved. ❤️
Lol yes it's so funny! Mei let Qi Ji hassle her for a long time then showed him who is boss... big mama! He loves anything she plays with him. Just wants all her attention. And cuddles😍💕🐼
It's the cutest thing in the world! Qi Ji still playing with mommy at 2 and half years age and nursing and everything. How interesting it is how our knowledge of pandas have changed and seems that mommy pandas can stay with their cubs longer than we thought. Love when they cuddle in sleep at night! 😍💕🐼

Why was Qi Ji trying to 'claw' his way through the fence to the other play yard 🤣 I really enjoyed watching Qi Ji and Mei having a long play bout! They were really having a good time, til Mei wanted to stop, but little Cubbie said, "no". 😄 I wonder why Qi Ji feels comfortable sleeping on the ground in yard 3, but not the others? I think I've seen him 2 or 3 times fall asleep on the ground in that yard. I really enjoyed watching this video. Thanks Tai. I hope your arm is better.

There are less play bouts since they're separated all morning most of the time. I think Qi Ji likes sleeping on the bit of rockwork landscaping in yard 3 because of the nice grooves he can get all snug. The way he does sleeping on indoor rockwork too. I'm doing a little better but then had a sinus infection. It's always something lol hope you are well Kay! 😍💕🐼
