I adore all of you and your crew at young nails. To take the time to want to help other people and make sure they don’t make the same mistakes is the sweetest thing. Most people could care less about helping others and want to see them fail. Bless you guys! I’m so happy you guys have come so far and are so successful! I hope one day I’ll be as awesome as you guys!
You guys are such awesome entertainment, enjoyed the story about your wife! I can totally relate in a way. I just budget well now (took me a while to get a system down that works with my brain) and keep tabs on everything. We have learned that we are being self reliant as a family through a colored excell layout for bills and paychecks and separately a self reliant business keeping accounts separate, tracking keeping reciepes, expenses, earnings etc. in a book, and to not stress in the process:) different ways work for different people, this has worked and feel secure about it, except my spending problem with what I want verses need ha ha!!
I just wanna say Thank you! 😊 I have been hooked on all.yoir videos I'm new to this whole thing but I will be getting my keys to my first suite on September 1st and I just been watching all your guys is videos when I wake up when I go to sleep everyday thank you
Omg habib!!! I did it !!!I made my first nail video...without you guys I would be never had the balls to do it! I even got 2 subscribers today!!!!by the way... Awesome advice in your video as always
For me the only way for me to make more money was to go back school and learn aesthetics, because I realized that just being a nail tech isn’t enough to make a living. It could be but then you’d be working almost 24/7. And I wouldn’t wanna do that. So doing more services that take less than an hour is the key. Think about how many brow waxing you could do in a day and how much it cost for each one. Or facials. And they’re so easy to do. Right now I’m doing just that. I’m school again, I already know how to do nails but still don’t have a clientele. So I’m working part time at a retail store and studying and maybe find some time in between to do nails at my old job. The only thing that sucks right now is that I can’t spend as much money as I use to. It’s so hard because I work in the mall and it’s so tempting to go for a coffee after a hard day of work. And I’m a big amazon shopper so that’s another thing. I’m always buying stuff I need for nails and now with the holidays coming up it’s getting harder. But honestly once I’m done school I’ll hopefully be making a lot more money than before and go back to my old ways where I’d shop shop shop.

I have been using a great budgeting app the past couple months. It teaches you to budget only the money you have in your bank account right now to help pay essentials and not overspend. It’s called you need a budget or YNAB for short.
I know it's not popular right now, but I withdraw what I can spend in cash so I can see exactly what I have and whether I can buy something or not. All my expenses like rent and bills are sent automatically electronically so any money that is left in my account can go straight to savings. Sometimes even though I alllowed for unexpected things some others come up and overall I'm in a much better position now than I was a year ago
All jokes aside! A lot of us nail techs make excellent money and shouldn't be in the slump we....yes WE as in ME and others....are in from being out of work a little over a week! This Covid 19 is a reset button for our thought processes and we have to stop taken things as easily granted just because we make our own hours! I wanted a very expensive purse.....$3700 vintage Lou.....all I had to do was work 2 extra days for 3 weeks! I wish I had that money right now! Never again!
Ok my expenses are more than my income and i work fulltime and still still my credit card is maxed no plan b for this my salary is not doing all and i starting to see that i am losing it i have no extra as i use to. And the best thing is i dont have clients as yet and buying all the time, with the lockdown in SA we are screwed now i cant even go and find clients and start getting money back that is bad.....
I just though of something my husband is so disciplined and stingy, but he is a police official discipline is his middle name, he calls me the money guru i can swift between things and always buy what i want just because i want it not that i need it though. So yes i think it is time the guru get rid of that credit card that was 2 times paid up as well as a clothing account also 3 times paid up and now again to the limit.....😐😧 eish guys its tough
I am mad at you guys. I've sent you DMs asking that you talk about handling finances as a nail tech. My country is now on lock down and I have close to nothing in my savings. I used all the profit, hundreds of thousands of rands to revamp the salon and bought a lot of stock this year.
Times are so hard that I've been seriously considering sending my long lost cousin who is a Nigerian prince $300 for $1 million! What do yall think? Lol!
Habib being a teacher makes so much sense!! Such a friendly outgoing guy

I follow Dave Ramsey for the baby steps and debt snowball. I was horrible with my finances, now I have a good handle on them.

No one could have anticipated this current pandemic. All we can do is get through this and know at some point it will be over

Wow! Better send me his address too. We should all feel sorry for that guy right?
Sounds legit. Go for it!
