So very true what you say Lee. People get put into categories by manufacturers by handicap level and told these clubs aren't for you when in reality for many many years everyone started playing with blades. If you like the look of a club give it a go and don't allow the marketing people a chance to pigeonhole you. Enjoy the game and play with what YOU want.
Demo'd them and ordered. Love them. (US 4.5 index). I played the Apex MB '18 last year and these are similar in playability and rounded toe shape. The new Apex MB are a bit too small for my liking.. I think these TCB are amazing. BTW I HAVE taken off the back weight with a security TORX and it's a weight encased in rubber on the back like a black surgeons glove. Mine are all indicated 17 grams.
Many thanks for your honest review. I tried these irons on a Callaway demo day . Today I ordered them . 5 to pw and a utility 4 .after seeing your review can’t wait to get them , thanks again .
I've just been fitted for a set of these, I don't play on tour though... I don't get the idea that tour pros wouldn't want some forgiveness as well if it's consistent
How do these compare to X Forged CB? They look like a blend of the X Forged and Apex with a smaller head. I currently have Apex Pro (4-AW)and X Forged CB (4-AW) sets with X Forged UT driving irons. The X forged give me a mid flight while Apex Pro gives me lower penetrating flight.
Everything seems wonderful except that you have a much more educated golf swing than any 12 hdcp that I’ve ever played with in my 50 years of playing Also what’s up with the 4700 backspin rate with a 7i ? That is ridiculously low for a players iron. Sounds more like a game improvement or even a super game improvement type of iron.
Not really my style mate. It could have a reverse effect and lose me my current viewership. Just prefer to be honest and let people sub if they want too
Nope, not for me, sorry but it does seem to be good for the lower handicap players. For mid to high handicap players then don’t think you can go wrong choosing irons that are more forgiving, ie, Ping G Series.

Totally agree
Great review Lee and wish you the best for the Ashbury club centre

This guy is the best! Forgets golf shoes while doing a outdoor golf review....would love to mix it up with him on a course!
Your vids are so good! You remembered your glove this time, that is a plus!
One day I’ll remember everything 😂
Great stuff Lee. Beeches really does look great every time you go out and film on it. Will have to give it a try next time!
They eventually arrived !! And yes , unbelievable. Recommended .
Thanks for the video, I’d want to put these in the bag as a 9 hcp 🎉
Enjoyed your style of review
Nice review 👍🏻
When you collected the quad data, was there a variety of strikes?

Yup could play this . handicap may go up 10 shots though , keep a spare set of shoes in your studio 😀
I do 😂😂

Great review Lee. How would you compare these to the Orak RS10MB?
Smaller in the head but feel just as good
Good review, wouldn’t of looked at it prior to this

Great sounding iron. Perfect video to show why golf shoes are important. 🤣
🙈😂😂
Keep your golf shoes in the car 🚙 if you then forget to put them on there’s no hope for you 😝💪... keep up the good work
Car 😂 they were in my studio and I still forgot to put them on 🤦♂️😂
Loved the look of these from the back and on the sole… and they feel / sound great, but just felt the top line was a little too thick :(
Better than the Srixon blades?
Not better or worse. Both feel great, the srixon looks to have a bigger blade length
Been subscribed for a while, you definitely should have more subscribers given your quality of video, maybe some clickbait is in order? Cheers bud

Maybe not wearing golf shoes can help you not be "Whack it Lee" :) Good stuff!

Crazy feet 😂😂😂😂😂
I play "players" irons though my 12 handicap apparently means I'm not a "player" yet....
Marketing codswallop
Me too. Mainly because I like to know when I've hit a bad shot.
