I'm a retired professional illustrator and have created many magazine interiors, covers, and book covers over the decades between the 1970s and now. The one thing they all have in common: I was listening to APP when I worked. (Not exclusively, but Alan Parsons's thematic mood for each album made it easy to get into my art ... The Beatles and Stones and Jimi and Ludwig would keep me going, but to get started APP was my go-to!!)
Depending upon the mood of the story I was illustrating, I had several habitual favorites:

I’ve been listening to the Alan Parsons Project for years. I’m almost 69 years old and I think this instrumental music is absolutely awesome. They have done an amazing job. I love the strong drums.
Very faithful to the original versions, with an "extra touch" of personality and skillness that makes the songs to have an excellent quality!
Thank you for loading this on RUclips! I have always thought a good instrumental album of Alan Parsons would be a great idea. And here it is! When the hottest of summer is over, I shall sit out under the shade of my backyard with friends and drink beer and have a great time to this...lyrics are no problem...we know them all anyway...should make for some really good fun as us old geezers get enough beer in us to start singing to the songs and being in tune will be thrown to the wayside as we enjoy and laugh whilst doing it...and, if the neighborhood dogs start howling...well that will just add to the fun!

I am 54 now. My older brother in Bandung he is the one who introduce app since I am then only 11 years of age. I also like electric light orchestra and future world orchestra. Wow can't wait your next version. ABBA or Beegees?
If you can find it by the Blu-ray audio for tales of mystery and imagination it will blow your mind make your speakers breathe clearly.. much better than any remastered version ever released before

I've listened to Alan Parsons Project since I was 10 and I'm 51, I am so acostumed to every little detail of each song of this band that, I'm so sorry to say this, and I know the effort that this must have taken, but I can't even listen to it, I found it soo fake even though I love some covers of other bands.
I agree and applaud this artist's efforts. However, I have to recognize IT IS A COVER and not meant to replicate the originals (which is neigh impossible, correct?). So if you take this from the perspective it is a cover from someone who's gotta be a fan and don't try to listen for Eric & Alan, then you can better appreciate this... highly appropriate to play at the office doing something boring on your work computer.
I agree I am 52 and own every record. It's a solid effort but in the end it's like a " Made In Taiwan" version. I lasted about 2 mins.
It literally says in the title that it’s by someone else. This guy probably isn’t a sound engineer to the extent that AP was. Give me a break.
I want to say at the beginning that I never listened to JG Millan and despite this I want to take position answering to the few "sound engineers" writing critics below.....
"This guy" as is described by you made the effort to put together something that is NOT supposed to be better or equal to the original for 2 reasons:
1. If it would be a compilation of the original songs probably there would be an issue with royalties.
2. If his versions would be unanimously better than the original, now we were all commenting the 100 backs we paid to listen to his live performance.
3. It's easy to find the weak point of something sitting on your sofa with the remote control doing the job for you. If you don't like it - skip to the next video.
4. Make it better if you know where to start - if you don't instead - and don't waste time to criticise what it took days to put together, just with the desire to share it with us.

This is awful. If you are going to play basic midi tracks without feeling at least get some decent VST's and samples going.
Sounds like you used a cheap general midi device from the 90's. Egh.

Well, may be sound quality is not best in some tracks. But there is nowhere such an instrumental compilation of APP like this. So, better to have one, rather than none. If anyone post a better one, we'll be happy to ear it!!
