      Thanks! I know right! I still have two more to make for the other half of the house. Eventually I think the grill and smoker will go up against the fence so the flowers may get a little torched.

      @@Curtis1824 so YOU’D definitely want to avoid my prior suggestion of plastic flower box flowers !! 😁👊🏻

    What type of router are you recommending for this job? Do you have a link

    Praying all is well and you are still enjoying breathing new life into the old homestead.
    Just wanted to let you know you’re still in our thoughts.

      Hi Keith! We're doing great. Decided to take a step back from making videos for a bit to get some much needed stuff done on the inside of the house. We'll be back though!

      @@Curtis1824 maybe record some of the things you’re doing inside for future episodes? The stairway build at the back door was outstanding! At your pace my friend! You’re letting us see a snippet of your personal life so you do it when you can, when you want…it’s all a blessing to us and we know the work that goes into it. 🙏🏻 for you all…

    Nice job on the railing! I will have to keep your design in mind when I have to re-fence our vegetable garden!

      @@Curtis1824 Yeah, you have a lot of variables there! Height, angle, distance! I am sure there is a good RUclips video out there on how to do it!

    I'm concerned that moisture and crud would develop in your bottom 2x4 groove? At least maybe copper green your cut? Drill drain holes? Maybe clamp between two 2x2s? Thanks for the video

      I was worried about that as well, but so far I haven't had any problems. It's mostly rocks around my fence, so not much junk to get in the groove. The boards also shrunk a little while drying, so any water that gets in has drained out the sides. I guess it depends on where it's getting installed with how it might do.

    How did you make that jig for your router? How did you attach it?

    • @Curtis1824
      @Curtis1824  Год назад +2

      Hard to explain but just set it up with the two boards so they make the bit line up in the middle of the post and then screwed through the router plate into the wood to attach it.
