Salute to the man....I'm from Himachal and here farmers get Rs 50-60 on average and for A-Grade apples Rs100-150. As he has introduced apples in a new environment, initially there will minimal diseases but with time it will get several diseases....because now days in Himachal & J-k farmers have to do 10-15 sprays in a season.

great effort for a small farmer... our experts are salaried employees.. they dont take risk and explore. Pl encourage the farmers to do in a small area.

The apple farmer ought to leave his leaves where they drop so they begin to build up the soil. He's taking away nutrients and cover that his trees need. Also, if he will grow mimosa trees between and among the apple trees, he will find his apples happy to have the extra nitrogen and shade they provide. These two actions -- planting mimosa trees and leaving the organic material on the ground to nurture the soil -- will make his trees much happier. 😊

These leaves if left under tress are a threat to the tree health, scab and redmite

Great and bold initiative and good price. In Kashmir the same apple is sold like 18-25 inr per kg by the farmers.

Fantastic.. I am very happy for the farmer for his boldness and innovation. All sorts of people should support him. Negativity and nay sayers are dime a dozen. Those people achieve nothing and fart negativity

Already Sachin Balgond had started cultivation apples in hot environment, this plant can survive till 45C , it's already proved and all these plants developed by Israel , come on..grow up all. He is not the first person who is doing apple cultivation in dry areas there many farmers done before he had started.
