When did forgiveness, grace and mercy not become a thing in marriage? She gave a measured answer to a hypothetical situation. Just because a spouse steps is not an instant reason to end a marriage. It will require rebuilding the trust and the faithfulness, and possibly counseling, if both parties are willing. If not, then separation is the next step then possibly divorce.

Back in the early 2010's, there were a bunch of rumors that the late Kobe Bryant had been cheating on his wife, with over a 100 women in Los Angeles.
This then sparked another set of rumors that they were going to get a divorce and Vanessa was going to earn over $200 million dollars. It was out of that time period that the phrase, "She wasn't there shooting it with you in the gym" came from.
At the time, a lot of black women, were pushing hard for Vanessa to divorce Kobe (shocking since she was a hispanic woman that they'd never really shown any interest in prior, outside of calling her the woman Kobe dumped the singer Brandy for): saying they'd never stand for such disrespect. I mean Kobe had already publicly embarrassed her less than a decade ago with his very public affair with the white woman in Colorado. Despite, all the public pressure, when it was all said and done, Vanessa stayed the course.
Sadly, Kobe would die with his daughter in a helicopter crash, and I'm pretty sure, the rest of us know the story. Vanessa would inherit his entire estate worth over $1 Billion (even though I'm pretty sure that she'd rather her husband and daughter still be alive) and she would deliver many speeches confessing her love for Kobe over the years - many of which drove to tears, the same women who many years prior were yelling that she should dump Kobe and cash out.
Ultimately, what this really is about is and why such comments in the video get such responses, is because for women relationships are always about validation, what separates Hyenas from women like Vanessa, is that they seek validation from the Sisterhood/women/society, not from their Man or the Family/Legacy that they're trying to make with him. This is why they think the idea of even thinking of the consequences as being too much, because it makes them look WEAK, GULLIBLE, EASILY PLAYED etc. They value their place in the sisterhood, more than they value their family's prospects, and would gladly reduce their family prospects than risk ostracism from the sisterhood, even if it is only temporary.
This is why such women make terrible wives, because even for them, marriage, family, love etc are all things they do to gain respect from other women, not for the family or man independently. The picture of the ring and the wedding are more valuable than the vows that come with it.
In her case it was financially advantageous to stay. But for the everyday 50k dude....nah lmao.

Simple fact that they got married to a dude means they're set for life, what makes them stay, is if they still believe in the man's mission/legacy, or they don't.

That is, if the people involved are ONLY seeking validation within the relationship.
You break-up depending on if you think the trust can be re-earned or not, self-respect has nothing to do with it.
It becomes primarily about respect or disrespect, mainly, when one or either party is seeking validation OUTSIDE of the relationship. And it's then about respect from others: "I'm not going to be respected, if everyone knows that I'm with a cheater." "I'll lose status, if everybody knows this guy cheated on me, and I stuck with him." That's when it becomes an issue primarily about respect.

Why does it seem hardly any tolerance present in relationships at home but much is given in relationships at the beauty supply/ nail salon. Work, etc.. and when we date out, we tolerate so much from them.i cant find videos of us putting these entities in their place . They seem to recieve so much grace for some reason.
