I know it's for the show, and I'm proud of her formchoosing her heart, but no way in hell would I leave a job with a 401k, insurance, parking and a lot of benefits for a teaching job.
As a teacher I was so glad to see that she went back to the classroom as I knew she would. Classroom teachers can really touch the students more than the people who work at the board of education.
But it sucks for Janine and her own personal professional growth. It was a great opportunity for her to actually change the all instead of the one and that’s what the ultimate teacher does. I don’t know. Her character seems stalled now
@@ccutehoney Being a teacher, year in year out is not a professional failure. She's young. She can move up and perhaps have a consultancy firm anytime she wants.
@ccutehoney She realized that while it was a great opportunity she wanted to make a greater impact on the students. That’s why most teachers stay. Sometimes moving up becomes less and less about the students and more about the “district. And tbh this fellowship was the realism she needed to become a better teacher.
I don't get the grudge, she told them from the moment they asked her to work there for a short time that she wanted to stay teaching at the school, they kept pushing until they almost had her there full-time knowing that wasn't what she wanted. But Warren never liked her so...
Most teaching positions come with all the stuff they offered…except maybe parking spot. I’m glad they put Janine bk in the classroom….it wasn’t really right for the focus of the show.

"Ain't no way-ay..." 🎶
Right like , aww, miss the kids but ain’t none of them mine 😂
Teachers get 401K, insurance and parking other benefits especially if it's public school. 🙄
@@AnkhGirl hehe...school really is important😁
I thought it would have been interesting for her to commit to it for a season, but Janine would’ve eventually returned to Abbott anyways.
No kids remembers who works at the district,, but kids will remember their teachers for a long time.
Facts because I def remember so many of my teachers 🥰🤞🏾 made school so awesome
Valid point, i remember teachers i loved and dislike, but I don't know or remember a single district employee.
THAT PART
2:28The difference between Ava and Melissa's reaction is 100. Melissa is glad, Ava is like 'so its your fault she's here' 😂
Just realized rhat lolol
2:30 Catch Ava’s face when Janine revealed that it was Barbara’s letter who convinced Janine to return 😂
😂😂
She wanted her work husband back
“We have tolerated your lies for 4 years!”
“Five* ☺️”

Not Gregory shaking in his boots when Ava said that Janine was pregnant 😆 and why was she saying that ?
Sheryl Lee Ralph has always been one of my favorite actresses!
Im so glad shes back to teaching, it was weird seeing her work for the district
NOOOO AVAA😂😅 2:06
It sweet she’s back but I do hope maybe at the end of the show she’ll go back. She was working hard and thriving
She will.
