They are going to be remembered for tribals like last nights, and remembered for moments like when Jeff changed his way he welcomes tribes in for challenges... Basically remembered for stuff that has nothing to do with survivor gameplay. Which is what us survivor fans watch it for...

I don't mind black, asian, LGBT etc. constestants, if they are entertaining enough for this show, its absolutelly fine, just look at survivor legends like Richard Hatch,Cirie Fields,Yul Kwon, Special Agent etc. I just want to see honorable heroes, iconic villians, memorable sidekicks no matter what race or gender or orientation they are, but PLEASE KEEP THE POLITICAL MESSAGES OUT OF THIS SHOW. It is killing the storytelling of the season, ratings getting lower and lower, even loyal fans of this show are getting pissed on CBS. When we talk about plot in last episode. At the start of the season i really liked Drea, but now i think i lost pretty much all respect to her. because she convinced others to vote out Chanelle by her own will. And now when first group voted out her closest ally Rocksroy, she instantly made from this a interracial conflict and now refuses to vote against other black contesnt just by default. I was screaming to the screen "Drea you are on chopping block beacuse you are strategic threat, not beacause you are from minority" This was really unnecessary and it is argumentative foul and really reminds me what Jeff Varner did couple seasons ago just from different direction. I'm 100% sure all contensts on this season aren't homophobic and they didn't voted Chanelle and Rocksroy out just because they are from minority and It was a just strategic decission to vote those people out. I absolutelly agreee with you, even when I'm technically from the minority, i just don't see any responsibility to represent my birthplace or race or smth like that.
I personally also think drea is very manipulative and sneaky and I think she used this situation to get out of being eliminated. If Drea would've stolen Mary Ann's hidden immunity, then she could've forced the tribe to vote Tori or Mary Ann or Lydia and let Mary Ann defend herself or her race. Mary Ann didn't seem to look like she was looking at two black jurors until Drea made it racial. Instead Drea felt a certain way and wasted two idols but admittedly she looked like less of a villain even though she didn't fully trust in her tribe.

I actually just finished watching last nights Survivor and I am completely pissed off. I'm really done with all the racist talk on Survivor. It's really been played out. Like, really really played out. I endured last season and that was unbearable. This season was actually pretty good until this episode. Kudos to Jonathon trying to stand up for some reality there. What really happened there was Drea was actually having a meltdown and then the Canadian MaryAnn started having a meltdown with her. Is this what survivor is going to be now? Playing the race card all the time when you feel like you're in trouble? I'm nearly done with this show and I've been watching since the 1st season. I can hardly stand all the gimmicks in the show now and them never leaving Fiji but the race talk is just over the top. Let's not forget how blacks and gays are over represented on the show already if you want to go by pure demographics. If you did I think there's only be what? 2 or 3 blacks on the show? If there was racism on the then they'd be voted out first after all. It's actually VERY offensive that they said it was racism and I am extremely annoyed that they are making that claim.

You know what is a much better show: Tough as Nails. Talk about a group of classy people! I missed the first two seasons (because I never heard of it), but now I can't wait for it to start again. The people are fantastic and everyone is respectful to each other. No drama, just hardworking Americans doing 110% of what is expected of them. Highly recommended.
Ironically I think if anything drea and maryane screwed a lot of black players and themselves. Because the tribe after hearing that tribals story is not going to even want to consider bringing a black player to the end because they’ll think the jury will give them the win automatically.
I am tired of all of this race card playing on Survivor and other reality shows! Just have all white casts or all black casts or all gay casts etc. Then no one can complain about being voted off because of race or sexual preference. Let them fight against each other without that option. I quit watching Dancing with the Stars and Bachelor/Bachelorette because of this and Survivor will be next!

I took away 2 things from this episode. Would Drea feel the same if she knew Rox was pushing for an all guy alliance? Maryanne has been trying to get close to Drea since they merged. This seemed like the only thing to bring them together.
They could/should have left at least 50% of that racist crap on the cutting room floor. They could just say "Oh, no! 2 black people are on the jury! Let's play our idols because this is unfair!" I thought that you guys handled this conversation very well. I honestly don’t think that any vote out in the history of Survivor was because of race. I did like it that Drea and MaryAnn said that they did not think that anyone was racist. Some people may hate me for saying this but why are people so concerned about what other people think? Play the game the way that you think that you have too. If someone outside of the game has an issue with how you played, that is their problem not yours. Don’t limit yourself in the game. You want to be a representative for your family or friends or you people, then play the game well and hard. Work hard in the game, do your best, don’t give up, never stop fighting and conquer your fears. You do those things and I promise you that you will be a great representative and you will be remembered!

Russell I disagree production didn’t have any blame in Wednesday’s episode, Jeff is a producer and sat there and let Drea lie, saying every season minorities are voted out first, he could have corrected her but did not, also he could have pointed out she was the one that voted for Chanel, and that no white person voted out RocksRoy like you said in your video, production had a lot to do and left a bad taste, the show has gone woke and I hope it gets canceled, as it’s not worth watching anymore.

I'm done with this show. I said that after 41. Gave this season a chance and it was actually good (aside from all the advantages that have been introduced) but after watching that im officially done. Survivor had a great run. But its dying. And I couldn't care less.

If Rocksroy keeps his mouth shut and doesn’t try to make a big move by organizing an all male alliance, Romeo is sitting on that Jury and Drea doesn’t get triggered. But she probably still plays her idol.
If they didn’t play their idols, one of them would have been going home. That is something we can’t debate, because both of their names were brought up.
I think/hope Survivor and CBS will definitely bring Tori back in a later season. I think they'll get backlash for the way she left the game. Im not even gonna say she was voted out. I don't mind black, asian, LGBT etc. constestants, if they are entertaining enough for this show, its absolutelly fine, just look at survivor legends like Richard Hatch,Cirie Fields,Yul Kwon, Special Agent etc. I just want to see honorable heroes, iconic villians, memorable sidekicks no matter what race or gender or orientation they are, but PLEASE KEEP THE POLITICAL MESSAGES OUT OF THIS SHOW. It is killing the storytelling of the season, ratings getting lower and lower, even loyal fans of this show are getting pissed on CBS.
When we talk about plot in last episode. At the start of the season i really liked Drea, but now i think i lost pretty much all respect to her. because she convinced others to vote out Chanelle by her own will. And now when first group voted out her closest ally Rocksroy, she instantly made from this a interracial conflict and now refuses to vote against other black contesnt just by default. I was screaming to the screen "Drea you are on chopping block beacuse you are strategic threat, not beacause you are from minority" This was really unnecessary and it is argumentative foul and really reminds me what Jeff Varner did couple seasons ago just from different direction.
I'm 100% sure all contensts on this season aren't homophobic and they didn't voted Chanelle and Rocksroy out just because they are from minority and It was a just strategic decission to vote those people out.

I personally also think drea is very manipulative and sneaky and I think she used this situation to get out of being eliminated. If Drea would've stolen Mary Ann's hidden immunity, then she could've forced the tribe to vote Tori or Mary Ann or Lydia and let Mary Ann defend herself or her race.
Mary Ann didn't seem to look like she was looking at two black jurors until Drea made it racial.
Instead Drea felt a certain way and wasted two idols but admittedly she looked like less of a villain even though she didn't fully trust in her tribe.

I actually just finished watching last nights Survivor and I am completely pissed off. I'm really done with all the racist talk on Survivor. It's really been played out. Like, really really played out. I endured last season and that was unbearable. This season was actually pretty good until this episode. Kudos to Jonathon trying to stand up for some reality there. What really happened there was Drea was actually having a meltdown and then the Canadian MaryAnn started having a meltdown with her.
Is this what survivor is going to be now? Playing the race card all the time when you feel like you're in trouble? I'm nearly done with this show and I've been watching since the 1st season. I can hardly stand all the gimmicks in the show now and them never leaving Fiji but the race talk is just over the top. Let's not forget how blacks and gays are over represented on the show already if you want to go by pure demographics. If you did I think there's only be what? 2 or 3 blacks on the show?

You know what is a much better show: Tough as Nails. Talk about a group of classy people! I missed the first two seasons (because I never heard of it), but now I can't wait for it to start again. The people are fantastic and everyone is respectful to each other. No drama, just hardworking Americans doing 110% of what is expected of them. Highly recommended.

Ironically I think if anything drea and maryane screwed a lot of black players and themselves. Because the tribe after hearing that tribals story is not going to even want to consider bringing a black player to the end because they’ll think the jury will give them the win automatically.
I am tired of all of this race card playing on Survivor and other reality shows! Just have all white casts or all black casts or all gay casts etc. Then no one can complain about being voted off because of race or sexual preference. I took away 2 things from this episode. Would Drea feel the same if she knew Rox was pushing for an all guy alliance? Maryanne has been trying to get close to Drea since they merged. This seemed like the only thing to bring them together.

Some people may hate me for saying this but why are people so concerned about what other people think? Play the game the way that you think that you have too. If someone outside of the game has an issue with how you played, that is their problem not yours. Don’t limit yourself in the game. You want to be a representative for your family or friends or you people, then play the game well and hard. Work hard in the game, do your best, don’t give up, never stop fighting and conquer your fears. You do those things and I promise you that you will be a great representative and you will be remembered!

Russell I disagree production didn’t have any blame in Wednesday’s episode, Jeff is a producer and sat there and let Drea lie, saying every season minorities are voted out first, he could have corrected her but did not, also he could have pointed out she was the one that voted for Chanel, and that no white person voted out RocksRoy like you said in your video, production had a lot to do and left a bad taste, the show has gone woke and I hope it gets canceled, as it’s not worth watching anymore.

Meaning Maryanne was intentionally voting for someone else specifically because of race. Whether Drea would admit it out loud, she's gonna watch season 42 back, realize Rocks was NOT voted out because of race (or anything relating the subconscious bias), and think to herself, "crap I look really bad now."
