- “Sunak will be particularly pained.”
Rishi Sunak’s campaign faces yet more “difficulties” as it’s reported that his “most loyal aid” Craig Williams placed a bet on the date the general election would be held, says The Times’s Red Box editor Lara Spirit.

Teresa betrayed David then was betrayed by Boris who was betrayed by Rishi who is betrayed by Suella. It’s the way Tories work, they only care for themselves.
Tories fail because they can’t find a capable leader. That’s why everyone (except Thatcher) has been a carbon copy middle manager.
Works for all parties, matey...
@@davidelliott5843
I don’t understand star worship. Thatcher was lucky to have Michael Foot on the other side. She also made her share of mistakes (the poll tax amongst others). Surely we have learned that the cult of the ´great leader´ is a dead end? That the ´Führerprinzip´ is always disastrous in the end?
What’s wrong with good managers? How can we hope for good governance without decent middle managers?
@@davidelliott5843 That's because Boris slaughter all potential rivals. I was there.
@@charlesbruggmann7909 A manager manages and does not lead by example - as an executive must. So we do need capable leaders.
I am even more 'pained' by Sunak's betrayal of the UK for his involvement in the 2007/8 economic crash in which his company had an active role in bringing down the banks.
And on immigration and cost of living.
Every hedge fund made bets against countries in 2008, thats how it works, the stock market is not a charity.
@@vinay7397 Yes but just because everyone does it doesn’t excuse any one of them doing it.
@@ogukuo97 well siad it not normal to do this smirk at us and boasts lies too.
@ogukuo72 it's not the shorting that cause a crash it's fundamental weakness in a company or currency. In 1992 all British hedge funds profited from the crash in the pound, do want them to be locked up?
Glad Rishi is understanding what it feels like to be betrayed
Cause and effect.
they all back stab each other whats new
Agreed
The problem is that we're going to need rishi if we have to go to war.
That there 🎯
"Sunak Betrayed." So now he knows how we feel...
Rishi essentially placed a bet against the country in 2008, so I'd be surprised if he's not incredibly impressed.
We're going to need him if we go to war but explain please. Is that related to 'the big short'?
I suspect they're setting up to try and bring cameron back.
@@nooboftheyear7170 His hedge fund were responsible for offloading a dodgy bank onto RBS which cost us tax payers years of austerity to bail out. It was described as "an extremely risky deal"

You guys still haven't explained the bet yet?
For a man who has betrayed his whole constituency, what is he 'pained' about?
Country
@@leestockton9367 Agreed. I was just referring to those who voted Conservative.
Torys deserve ZERO SEATS !
Amen nd Amen 🙏
We could only wish 😑
Sounds good
Yes and more Muslims in parliament, much needed
I'm in a solid Tory county and lib dem posters are popping up everywhere on my bin collection travels your wish may come true 🤣
Placing a bet to win £500!! How sordid can you get? To quote Napoleon "It is not surprising that every man has his price. What is surprising is how low that price is."
I call it Karma Rishi! You know the same you done to Boris and Truss, set them up, let them down.....
All the scumbags have made their money off us,time to abandon ship
why would you abandon ship?
Vote ReFormUk
What goes around comes around. Now you know how Boris felt. No sympathy whatsoever
£400 gain to cause such damage, these are people who we ask to make decisions with far reaching implications and their judgement is this poor and self interested.
Williams used to be my MP. An utterly vile individual.
Why did you do it to us. Jake?
@@TheDavidlloydjones What, vote him out so he had to be parachuted into your constituency?
What goes around comes around, he betrayed May then Boris and then Truss for his desire for power, now the proverbial has hit the fan and he needs to take it like a man and go
If only the betting story had come out before last night's debate.
I bet it did.
Bet Fred......surely?
Don't worry the, the BIAS media led by the BBC will come up with more stories like this to please people with peanut brains like--
We still don't know if Sunak the merciless set the date for a share of the winnings
@@redf7209 He's got to pay Piers Morgan back first!
Maybe Craig Williams was the one who suggested doing the ITV interview was more important than staying for the D Day remembrance.?
he probably had a tenner on-the-side for that one as well...
He knew how dumb Rishi was😂
I actually don't think you could pay me enough to be a host on Times Radio. Talking about principals, beliefs and honesty while trying to rally support for the Tories would just be too much.
One word for Sunak... "Boris"!!!
The fish rots from the head down.... Nothing is surprising with the tories
She should have placed a bet on when he'd leave the D Day Ceremony
He stabbed Johnson (who I also loathed) in the back. Feels like after a lifetime of every single thing going his way Sunak is finally in one go starting to experience the things the rest of us have felt.
At least Johnson was a leader. Flawed but he could lead.
I agree 💯
As a hedge fund manager Rishi has made lots of money betting on others' economies.
everyone has the same opportunity to do the same thing. it is not some kind of special thing only for certain people.
@@Dingo-pt1qhexcept that it was his Private Education (tax exempt Private Education) that landed him a job at a company of parasite capitalists that made him millions by forcing Royal Bank of Scotland into bankruptcy so he could short their shares. A bancruptcy that cost us taxpayers £45 billion to bail out (and kick started austerity) , while rishi and his mates pocketed millions. Business skills or sociopathic parasites?
Now he knows how the people feel.
Is it worth putting a £100 bet on that his aid won't see the inside of a courtroom? One rule for them and another for us.
Come on Rishi, you stabbed Boris in the back.
Taste your own medicine.
This politician has learned he doesn't like what he's done to others. Politicians, along with most journalists really do belong in the slime at the bottom of a stagnant pond.
They seem to have no concept of loyalty, trust and friendship unless it's to their advantage.
Bevan said that lies were woven into the fabric of the way that Tories think and act as, otherwise, the working class who they simultaneously hate and need would desert them in droves. True then, true now.
Now he knows how Boris felt when he stabbed him in the back to get power.
Dodgy Sunak is upset as didn’t put the bet on himself !
He's a good man who wants only whats best for the citizens of the UK, to watch Sky TV, and enjoy his heated swimming pool.
Poor Rishi. His closest advisor is exposed for corruptly betting with insider knowledge. Poor, poor Rishi. He's the real victim here.
No poor oooohhhhhh very rich !!!!!!! Have no problem if leaved parliament
He should know too well about betrayal, he did the same to Boris Johnson. They say what goes around eventually comes around.
That there
they knew about this 10 days ago lol the only people betryed are once again the public lol how he could allow this guy to register and stand as an MP proves Risho feels no betrayal.
He doesn't need the UK. Rishi, leave this country and enjoy your life instead of getting insulted
Jimmy Clever has put some lard on.
It looks like he's wearing Sunak's jacket.
Gambling on the outcome with inside information...Well i NEVER!!!

Starmer should have answered the "are you a robot" question by saying "Well, my father was a toolmaker". It would have brought the house down.
"No, I'm not" was also possible.
Affirmative
We maybe need a boring leader.
Truss and Johnson were not boring. Should we go back?

It seems that over the years, it looks like a lot of conservatives have become so gullible.

Boris stabbed us in the back first
Don't see how anyone can vote for the party that put Jeremy Corbin at its top just as I will never vote for Republican party that puts a man like Trump at its top.
Give the Tories ZERO seats. Vote Reform.
Don’t be silly
Now he knows how Boris felt. No sympathy from me.
Starmer was pretty much trying to signal in every way he could that he didn't really support Corbyn, without saying it straight and giving the media a damaging sound bite to share around. The latter point is one of the main reasons most politicians talk kind of... weird.
Thanks for posting
Just like Liz Truss...he too feels the "Ides of March" (except its June) LOL
I'm not even listening, I'm just playing my smallest violin.
What goes around comes around!
No tories, no Labour, no reform, just independents👍
Unfortunately we'd get nowhere if they couldn't agree on anything.
I can't believe all these people hating on Sunak. I'm not his biggest fan but got a gut feeling that Starmer is going to be 100 times worse. For example, I bet WW3 is going to start within 4 to 6 weeks after Starmer gets in. Could be a false flag created to get public opinion behind him and his desire to start WW3, but I'm sensing real evil behind Starmer, not based only on his decision not to prosecute S_vil_e but just looking at his energy. Sunak was also heading to a WW3 scenario but Starmer gives me more of a chill. The way the tories are running their campaign, you get the def. impression that they do NOT want to win the next election.
Of all the things to pummel politicians with, supporting a former leader seems to be the weakest and most trivial, unless that former leader had been pursuing a policy of genocide or other dreadful criminal behaviour.
You literally can't trust any of them.
well said 👍
But not pained enough to remove him as a candidate.
Sunak was told about the investigation BEFORE the candidate selection deadline and CHOSE to leave him standing.
So much for Integrity!
You thought politicians had integrity?
@@rajs4719 Nope, just reminding people of one of little Rishi's actual pledges when he was handed the job. (and Yes, I knew he was a liar, he's a Tory)
Sunak the snake, wasn’t voted in😂. He, and Jimmy Savile’s best friend Starmer, are a waste of space. The only party standing for the people and the country is REFORM
Just remind me again, what Keir Starmers father did for a living !!!!!!
Now Sunak know how Suella felt when Sunak lied through his teeth when he promised her he would leave the ECHR if she supported him for P.M., he deserves all he gets, it will be good to see the back of him.
Starmer gives me the shudders.
Vote Reform, not perfect, but best out of a bad lot.
Just saw news that craig left because of an investigation on him for placing bets. He said he doesn't want this to distract sunaks campaign. How dishonest is this take from times radio
The UK is fckued if Labour get in, laughable they're working class, millionaires the lot of them
Well he prooves his dad was a tool maker. His dad and his mother certainly made the BIGGEST TOOL in this country. They obviously never heard of bird control.
the look of evil when sunak said he'd take us out of the echr . he'd love us having no rights to exploit us all
He should know about betrayed look what he done to Boris and look where the Tories are now 😂😂😂
Who would ever want to be on sunaks honours list, surely it would be an embarrassment.
These people don't have loyalty to each other. It's all about keeping their seats on the gravy train.
How do think we feel!!
Craig Williams the most perfect example of a self-serving tory!
Rotten to the core!🤮
He betrayed us all so now he knows how it feels.
Rishi combines the leadership of a May, the charisma of an Ursala, and the success of a Biden.
I had beef curry with naan for lunch
Nutsak knew that this fella was under investigation, and he decided to do nothing. As per usual, Nutsak's judgement was again very very poor. Seems to be a theme with him, D-Day anyone...
The RATS are beginning to run from the SINKING tory ship!
This is a great play
Maybe he's "pained" because dealing with the fallout from Williams means he won't have time to watch Sky TV. Sigh, the sacrifices he has to make.
Gee, disloyalty from an aide, when his boss has given such a shining example of loyalty to his country, oops sorry, my mistake, his money. Robot Sunak doesn’t care if the country sinks beneath the waves, he’s off to California
So Sunak sacked when he found out at the time? Err no, um.
His father was a tool maker FFS his most famous tool is Kier.
'What goes around, comes around' ... Serves him right!
He was betrayed by his most loyal aide because she saw he was not loyal .
The Union Jack backdrop leads me to distrust Keir Starmer.
No friends in politics.just convenience.
2024 - Dull vs Duller
Why do we want an exciting PM? I'd prefer dull competence.
Sunak has betrayed far more people
That’s what he did to Boris what goes round
Video title should read, 'Suknackers Betrayed... Everyone' 😤
Now you know how the British people feel about you Rishi!
The people are about to give the Tories that kiss or death. They are too busy criticizing each other instead of looking at what the people are thinking.
It's not loyal to leave your freind, leader, employer in this kind of shxxxt. It's profound disloyalty, and frankly no one deserves it. Including the PM,.
If your employer has the integrity of a fly what does that make you if you continued support a person like that of that ilk ? that's not disloyalty that's displaying total integrity, when they show you who they are trust them .
I’m pained by a supposed media outlet who is unable to spell the word “aide” correctly.
And you wonder why people give you zero credibility.
I'm pretty sure whenever he comes close to feeling anything negative he looks at his bank balance and thinks about the 7 figure "consultancy" job he has lined up.
Now he nows what its like, remember boris...
Yes Blair…as more Tory than the actual 😊Tories
