Nice finds. Even some of the "cheap" cars have halfway decent detail in the casting, & a metal body is alleys a bonus. I think I have the same Lesney Ferrari, although the paint is nowhere near as good of condition, and a tire is missing. On yours the hood paint looks nearly pristine. I am curious if you have any info about the orange tow truck & cop car on far right side of the video... They remind me of some die cast cars a friend had back when I was in junior high (early 1990s). They had a feature where if you pressed down (gently) on the roof, a couple led lights would flash and a siren sound would play for (guessing) about 10 - 15 seconds.
Value Village has gotten stupid with their pricing. I recently saw 4 beat up diecast cars in a bag, of no considerable note, priced at $4.99. Same price as brand new in the package.
Most of those other cars are not really expensive at all their culture cars unless you're super treasure hunts and treasure hunts which I do not collect I collect everything from 1999 down
Date on bottom is NOT a production date. It is the copyright date for the design of the toy. It can be 1 to 5 years before the toy is actually produced. 5 years is rare but it has happened. After the car is produced it may have a long production run with many color and tampo changes. It is possible to find a Hot wheels made this year with 1969 on the base.
