To know how a Active filter works we need to first know about the response graph of filters. In this Video I have explained what is dB/Octave and to understand it more clearly I have used my oscilloscope to probe values at different octaves.
In this video you can understand the basics of a Active filter and design one Active Filter Yourself .
In the Next video I will design another High Pass Filter circuit with -12dB/Octave or -24dB/Octave Specification and we will compare with this Filter how much the sound differs.
