Would be curious to understand how these prefab buildings behave acoustically, especially so in school settings where codes dictate minimum sound isolation requirements!
Actually as or more firesafe than most brick or concrete buildings - see Belinda Carr's videos on timber construction where she goes through this question in some detail.
But what about hempcrete, strawbale and other real ECO technologies? Wood is good from your point of view - western rich country, which cut trees in Eastern Europe to build your super houses. I live near great forest complex and in my entire life have never seen so many acres cut down, and I know that most of wood is sold to the West. Stora Enso - you're not fighting against cilimate changes AT ALL. It's just next nice green advertisment.
Almost all houses are wood framed, so why not ask these about most buildings? Mass timber withstands fire better than most metals and concretes regardless. It's too thick to burn and it forms nonflammable char on the surface
The timber shed at the end of my garden has been around for longer than me. It's got a felt roof covering, and is built on a concrete base. All the problems you've raised can be beaten by design changes that were developed centuries ago.
Everything is fine until you let an army of bored and frustrated teenagers with access to lighters into a wooden building. I used to go into a school made from concrete, steel walls and plastic chairs and tables. Only the concrete was safe. I predict burned wall art will be a thing in those schools.
It's not like you can't resurface exposed wood by sanding it down, but you can't do it endlessly. Then again if you're in an area prone to that you can just paint the ground floor. And if the teenagers climb two floors to tag your building I'd say they've earned it 😂
This is a disappointing advertisement, from a channel where I'd like to see a deeper, critical look. We badly need pre-fab, EnergieSprong, etc and wood construction is a great fit with our natural resources in N America among other places. Talk to some market experts about why or why it won't happen. That kind of thing.
No denying their beauty and warmth. I'd love to see phone footage and not pretty marketing material.

I’m building a house from clt next year. Been to see a few builds already. It’s the future !!
Regardless of type of construction, it’s strange to not see fire sprinklers in a school. It’s like time travel to the 1960’s or early 1970’s.
Finally...
Is concrete recycling feasible?
Sure it is.
@@adamcheklat7387 is it??
@@ReasonableRadio not really.
It’s regularly broken done into material used for fill.
What fire protection is used?.. how are the termites prevented?. What about when it rains?
Fire is all I see. Lots and lots of fire.

This has a lower fire risk than conventional construction

Dude what about fire , rainfall , bacteria and safety . Please explain me
