Nice review. Tired of the other people on RUclips bashing the watch. I don't care to listen to the watch snobs. Blancpain did have input in the design so it does have legacy in the watch as well. It's a collaborative effort.
I had the orange model in my hand yesterday (exhibition only) and it does feel like a plastic toy watch. For that it is too expensive, unless you have lots of spare money. Then it’s just something to buy for fun. The exhibition case back is glass, but the front they couldn’t tell me what it was. “Biosourced” they said. The spring bars: they also could not tell me if they can be removed. - Maybe you can move up the list if you buy some standard Swatch models first 🤔 Currently everything is exhibition only. “We never know when we get deliveries and what they contain” - Yes that’s what the Rolex AD said
Supposedly front plastic/acrylic with few layers scratch coating, springbars r removable via a blancpain tool (which they should hav supplied) & other brands make carbon cases frm 1-2k+ +feels like plastic/v.light & they sell all day long.. The blancpain looks better made than moonswatch, time will tell on durability & these are selling so people do want them.
People complain it is plastic, yet they’ll drop hundreds on a plastic digital G-Shock. They’re cool. Helpfully it will win over some people not into watches. Not for me.
System 51 is the epitome of waste. The whole promise of a mechanical watch is its durability. S51 was designed to be a throwaway movement and last few years. The watches look nice, but at €400 is just not worth it for what they are.

Thank you so much😊

Is the crown a screw down crown
Nope

G-Shocks are build to last, while this one isn’t.
Pacific Ocean wonderful !
7:05 you have to hate autocorrect in this situations 😂 (on the screen saying SISTER 51, very cool)
😄😄 true
Too bad the Pacific Ocean one doesn't have a yellow dial. Every other model has a dial that matches the case. I still like it best though
Nice review, just keep doing more of these 🔥
❤️
Something special about the straps is that they are made from recycled fishing nets.
True!
You failed to mention the movement can't be serviced. Supposedly watch will stop working after roughly 2 years and can be disposed at that time.
It's 10yrs or more, but anything can happen, u should b able 2 replace a movement with another system51 via swatch service or qualified watchsmith
@@ponjk101 last and only S51 I had stopped working after almost 1.5 years. Movement cannot be swapped as the case back is welded in place.
@@Jedimaster36091 not on blancpain/swatch, the backs are pressure fitted.

your colourn balance is way off and doesnt accurately reflect the colours of these watches. the green is muted!
Thanks for the feedback - need work on the grading more! 😊
No 42 mm... that is for girly wrists... should be 44-45 mm mininum.
If you define your masculinity with your wristsize and your watch .. sure 👍🏼
Money grab s*** plastic watch when you can get a proper Seiko or citizen for that money
Course u could buy seiko or citizen, but it not blancpain. Also marathon navigator is plastic with quartz movement at £395.
Save your money then 😂
