But 90% of the swiss tournements ive played used something along the following Round 1 pairings, top half the rating board plays the bottom half. The lowest rated player that won would play the highest rated player that drew, and the lowest rated player to draw would play the highest rated player that lost. My peak blitz was 1200 and 1550 and now it is 1350 and 1750 so for me it was 350 but now it's 400. It varies for different segments. For someone at 2300 both will be almost the same.
