Of course there is a background track in the chores with such intense choreography but they do sing live, and it's thanks to years of training. Their agency trained them even by running on a treadmill and singing to sound stable. They're incredibly talented and hard working, check out their other live performances and listen closely. You can hear them singing especially with dreamies when they perform "boom"

It was his IFB cable for his ear monitors. It’s how he hears everything, and not being able to hear onstage can be problematic, to put it mildly. Taeyong, Doyoung, and Jaehyun all had issues from what I saw, and I may have missed someone. They’ve probably performed that song a hundred times, and I’ll bet that it was probably the first time that’s happened to DY. It was one the biggest gigs of their career, of course things were going to go wrong!

I felt his panick when he was struggling in the beginning, but he handled it very well like a professional, you can see him fixing it as he continued with the choreography, and he had his hand near by where he placed it making sure it didn't fall out again. For not being able to hear anything he stayed in sync and delivered a great performance. Some of the other members were struggling with their ear monitors too so kudos to them as well. You can tell they worked hard for this performance.
