To be fair there is a very fine line between playing a fighting game, and TARGETTING. I fell like you constantly hunted him just to annoy him. I would say he isn’t in the right being the trash-talker he is but still.
Rules never said no targetting, so nothing he can do about it
I get angry on getting randomed too and whats worse is that sometimes they then keep targetting me after finding out im so damn laggy i cant move nor see their next skill cuz freeze frams spike lags every 5 - 10 seconds whrn fighting
randoming doesnt exist in a fighting game but if they target you i can understand

Settings, on the title screen tap the cogwheel. There is an option to show hitboxes, it’s really helpful since you know when something can damage you
