Thank you for another great review and deep dive into the expansions. It'd be nice to have links to the overlays and expansions, both to help people searching for them and to get you some money.
Well I don't get commission for it, but here's a link to the official E-Raptor page! :-) e-raptor.pl/en_US/p/e-Raptor-Insert-Rune-Stones-expansion-4x-organizer/1442
I completely agree that this game is very underrated...me and my friends love playing this game every single time it comes to the table!! I just got ahold of the Enchanted Creatures expansion...and I will use your suggestion to not use that 1 specific Runestone. I was one of the original backers of this game on Kickstarter...in love with Rudiger Dorn games now
This is such a weird coincidence. I had been looking at Rune Stones a lot recently, and got it for myself for my bday as well as the 2 expansions. The base and 2st expansion arrived yesterday, and 2nd expansion arrives today. This seems like the universe telling me "Good choice sir."
Thanks for the review of the game and the expansions. It's one I wasn't aware of before your review. The question I have on the overlays is unless you have a game mat, what keeps the screw heads on the back from scratching or denting your table? Couldn't really see them very well so maybe I'm just missing something...?
Hi Luke, I'm in the UK and I'm wondering, did you order the eRaptor insert direct from Poland or did they give you a set for free advertising. The postage to UK is brexitingly out of proportion! Same cost to the USA!
.....which puts it into proportion as I've just received Runestones, 2 expansions and Queenie direct from Queen Games for £50 and NO postage charge! Very impressed.
Works great though you can take or leave the forest board with new players. Easy to take out as it doesn't affect anything else. Always use everything else.
@@TheBrokenMeeple thanks for the reply. Both expansions adds up to be more expensive than base game hence hoping if you can give me some advice whether is it worth getting. So far enjoying all the games you recommended!
Yes, it's maybe even better than 4 players because it's quicker. Had my first play yesterday and it took us 70min with 2 players. With more plays it can easily go in less than 60min. I still have to experience if I really like 3 players better. With 4 I'm not sure because there is not so much interaction and it might get random with coloured runes are available when there are 3 other players to potentially craft some before it's your next turn.
I've put up a solo variant for this game on BGG. Super fun and easy.
I'll check it out!! Thanks!

I'd also like a link to the insert and overlays. I love some upgrades, especially for organization.

Certainly is underrated - though I haven't got it out for a while, I should amend that!

Happy birthday! And yes, I the universe am telling you "Good choice sir!" :P
@@TheBrokenMeeple Thanks Universe!
You sold me on the base game before & these expansions seem like great additions. I'm hoping the reprint you've heard about might be a Big Box!
I doubt it, but just bringing it back would be nice. I hope I didn't get false info!
@@TheBrokenMeeple We have plenty of stock right now of the base game and the expansion @ queengames.shop

They are rounded so they won't scratch and in any case you don't have to move the mats around once laid down.
@@TheBrokenMeeple Thanks.

The eraptor set they sent was a while ago and for review purposes.
Does combining it all work fine? How did you like it that way?

Please do one for Seasons Expansions!
Wouldn't be much to say - i don't use the new mechanics in them much at all, but I do like just shuffling in the extra cards.

You should totally play Obsession 😆😆
If I see a copy I will try it, promise!
Thank you.
You're welcome!
Where did you pick up the overlay boards?
E-Raptor

Is this game worth it for 2p?
Yes it's super fast at 2.
