From what I've seen about the pushback against the BLM leaders, it wasn't only about the misuse of donations, but was mainly about their stated goals of dismantling the nuclear family and spreading a marxist ideology which is anti-American. They also didn't speak out against the looting, arson and violence that directly affected minority owned businesses and their neighborhoods.
I'm a white woman and almost 70 years old. DON"T believe everything you read. Ever since BLM was formed, the corporate media and the right wing have been accusing them of all kinds of shit and blaming them for more. There are people called agent provocateurs who take advantage of a situation in order to create doubt about a particular group, in this case BLM. There's a very high chance that the looting and other things were either being done by such people, are simply by regular folk taking advantage of the situation who are not even a PART of BLM. Also, that Marxist bullshit is a very right-wing claim. There is NOTHING un-American about BLM. Pull your head out!
In no way, shape or form, are the BLM nonprofits insurrectionary, pro illegalist, Marxist, or even antifamily. As an anarchist, I would know if they are. As to your McCarthyism, why not leave that where it belongs, which is in the trashcan with all the other ultranationalist beliefs.
Another reason was on their website they listed all their goals, of the things listed to reach their goals that would help the black community, one was dismantle the nuclear family, it was removed a while back after they received backlash over it but that's probably just for appearances
@@Lava91point0 i think taking either side ìs a losing issue for them, some will say they are wrong for supporting aborting black babies and others will say they're wrong for not supporting black women that need abortions, better to stay silent for them imo
I could see it a mile away. The whole Floyd thing happened and suddenly BLM products were being sold everywhere, the actual movement had all this money and didn’t help a single person. It was the most obvious grift in the whole world, all they did was say “White people are evil! Give us money!” One of the core founders was even on the FBI’s most wanted list, fled to Cuba and only came back once she had diplomatic immunity. A Red Flag if I ever saw one
And the amount of money they spent. They weren’t just houses, they were mansions. The thing that upset a lot of people is that their supposed to be a non-profit organization. The money that they got was through donations. Even a small percentage of that could make a huge difference for black families in need.

Chappelle was probly my favorite comedian since Chappelle show. Then like I said, I found Bill Burr who immediately became a favorite. And even tho I’ve always known Norm McDonald, it wasn’t until a few years back I went down a Norm RUclips rabbit hole and he is actually probly my all time favorite now. But of course, I find out Norm and Chappelle go way back, he had Chappelle co-star w him in his sequel to Dirty Work b4 anyone else really knew of him. Point being, the best recognize the best (when Norm got on SNL and became famous, he helped out Chappelle, then Chappelle gets huge and helps out Bill Burr)

The leader of BLM can live a good life and I got no issue with that. But, they organization hasn't donated anything to anyone or helped any family that was affected by police brutality. 60 million of the money is missing and nobody knows where it went. That's the problem I have. If she has everything she needs then that's fine. But she gave almost a million dollars to her baby daddy for security payments....no way security costs 1 million in 4 years.....maybe 500000 on the high end.
@@Nta_winy_lftst I didn't say that she is living a better life through her organization. I just said that she can have a good life and I got no issue with that. The problem that I have is money laundering and fraud. That's the point of my entire post. I don't think she should be living in a ghetto, but to go out and buy several properties is absolute fraud. If the organization is set out to help black people and she happens to be black then I don't know why she can't place herself in a safe environment. You can't help others if you need help yourself. _"The TV be wantin' us to hate, man."_ 14:12 Nailed it. _"Let's give the money to somebody that support your cause."_ 14:55 That's the problem, Bro. They don't support your cause. @@huckleberrylachow2202 Most people who give financial backing to BLM do so because they think BLM is an organization promoting racial equality, social justice, and the dignity of Black Americans. BLM donation pool never went to schools in the projects, or businesses in the projects like they claimed they would do. There's a difference between paying for content or service vs. a donation that is intended to go somewhere. This is a direct pool of money meant to help others, not to make someone rich and keep all the donation money. I didn't have much money but I donated to it and then was pissed all I did was line someone's pocket instead of actually helping a business or something regardless of the amount of money. The moment was widely supported the BLM donation pool was a scam, it used people and their emotions around the casualties of police brutality to steal from others. That's wack. Love the content boys

I knew this was special when the dude with the hat said “I’d never thought about that perspective” re running out of white guilt. It’s goes to show we all need to have more empathy.
"TV is trying tp make us hate" is right on. Smartest thing I've heard in a while. Love your channel.
Keep Bill Burr coming.
Favorite comedian of all time.
!! You nailed it towards the end when you said, ‘the tv be wanting us to hate.” !! 💯
The power of stand up comedy! It can show new perspectives. Thanks for doing this reaction, you provided me with insight too!! Keep doing what your doing!
I think the fact that this gave you a different perspective, is an important thing. Loved your reaction, makes you wonder about how manipulated we are by tje media and our government. Time for people to wake up and realize we are alot stronger together than we can ever be apart.
Keepin it 100 I swear youtube legit bringin black and white together f the media i swear. His wife black, my girl black now (met her on YT no bs how crazy is that). Nth but love for the channel. Got all my support.
Seriously, even music reaction channels alone have brought together so many people who'd never have thought to interact, but aside from various types of political and woke censorship policies this place is doing a lot societally. Now the political reaction channels are waking people up in a different way. It's a good combination, music always effects change.

I think people underestimate how much white country boys(me) and black people have in common. That's why we have amazing cookouts. Everyone gets along. Fish fry, ribs, burgers and dogs. Doesn't matter as long as I am in good company regardless of skin color.
Omg so funny. Love Bill Burr and watching you guys react.
Bill Burr wrote for the Chapelle show. Also, he was in the "racial draft" skit which was hilarious.

Love how you guys are so open to others viewpoints and perspective. A very important social skill to have. Thanks for the video gentlemen
Love that you all are thinking about how media portrays stereotypes that get repeated over and over and shapes the way we think about others. It's so damaging to society. But when you become aware, you become enlightened and start thinking about people (and media) differently.

"The sun's gonna run out"
Wow. One of the most clever lines I've ever heard 👏
They’re also often silent on abortion
In no way, shape or form, are the BLM nonprofits insurrectionary,
pro illegalist, Marxist, or even antifamily.
The BLM thing wasn't that they had a nice house. It was how many houses they bought for themselves.
As a white supremacist, that shit was funny as hell!
@@dannyarcher6370 ???
And the fact that they used the house as a way to launder money.

I feel like I’ve been watching Bill Burr my whole life but I only just found him in like 2017. But shortly after I realized he was actually in a few Chappell Show skits.

My only problem with BLM is now everytime I need to reference the Bureau of Land Management I have to say the whole thing, that and all the corruption but that's in every political organization.
my husband wears his black lives matter shirts in the south. when someone says they don't like "BLM" he says "ya I don't like bureau of land management either" it stumps alot of closet bigots

You are ok with an organization using donations, to give themselves a better life? That literally is fraud, no matter what color they are.
However what she is doing is way over the top and shady to say the least.
What she is doing is fraud, no two ways about it.

55 year old white guy. Love this channel. Appreciate all of you so much for looking at all these topics with open eyes. That's how we heal. That's how we grow. As far as BLM, its original message was inspirational. Its original movement was necessary and acceptable. But it soon became hateful and divisive. And SO MUCH of the money raised wasn't used to help the black community. What did BLM do for DESERVING black families and communities?
_"The TV be wantin' us to hate, man."_ 14:12
Nailed it.
_"Let's give the money to somebody that support your cause."_ 14:55
That's the problem, Bro. They don't support your cause. They simply say they do, and because they say they do, some people believe them. A lot of people need to wake up. Instead of relying on what a person says, look at what they do. Actions speak louder than words.
Huh???
@@huckleberrylachow2202 Most people who give financial backing to BLM do so because they think BLM is an organization promoting racial equality, social justice, and the dignity of Black Americans. That is not the purpose of BLM, nor is that what BLM promotes, but donors almost never take the time to research BLM. They care more about feeling good through donations than they care about actually making a difference in the world.

"The TV be wanting us to hate man." You said Burr made you feel stupid but you just summarised the whole set in eight words.
I applaud that. Only thing worth hating are the things that tell us we should hate.
As a country bumpkin I think the closest thing I've heard to someone saying "the sun bout to run out" would have to be people saying "it's about dark thirty" Even so bro that sounded like something straight out the sticks 😂

@@himwhoisnottobenamed5427 Sometimes you've got to lie to get a story out there. A marketing story for the greater good, needing to get funding for this to happen. Investors won't let you tell your slave story if it's "fantasy", if if you're related to him, suddenly, that's a selling point. The story is still depicting horrible things that happened in real life. That's the value of the story, making sure they can see a depiction of the history and can't just ignore it or claim it wasn't that bad. Wow, I think it could be spread around a little bit.
BLM collected $90 Million in 2020
"The form covers the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2021, nearly a year ago. In 2021, the foundation released its own report, not a mandatory federal tax filing but a voluntary accounting of its funds, in which it said that it raised $90 million in 2020, with the average donation being $30.64.May 17, 2022"
I've grown to love to this channel. Because it promotes, intentionally or not, good vibes for Americans of disparate backgrounds. Which is the very OPPOSITE of what our (leftist) politicians truly desire. Our politicians would rather that we (black, white, etc.) never mingle, and that we view one another as some alternate human lifeform. Bc our division is their control. Anyway, chill channel. We could all do w some levity these days. Respect
