Unfortunately it’ll take a lot now to impress me with a vanilla scent, there are sooooo many amazing vanillas out there. Glad they tried to take another angle via wedding cake at least

I don’t find it to be similar. In that category, yes. But similar as in a type of dupe no. I have a neutral skin acidity and the sandalwood in it comes through. Gives it a more unique type gourmand making it edgier and breaking up the smooth creaminess of the almond sponge cake cookie accord of madeleines. It’s quite a unique vanilla scent on me and definitely doesn’t conjure up Vanilla Sex to me. For me it’s not mainstream vanilla and takes me on a little journey. … They have different personalities. You can have both and enjoy them. This fragrance you need to enjoy as it wafts off the skin. If you put your nose directly on your skin to smell it you will not have an accurate experience. Be forewarned, lol, that nose on skin may on some have the unfortunate lactonic baby milk puke smell. 😂 So enjoy it wafting off your skin for the true experience. This fragrance for me I had to grow into enjoying. It took a full day to appreciate because I’m not that into sandalwood coming forward in my vanilla fragrances. And that may not happen on your skin. But it’s quite a unique and amazing vanilla. And I feel it will really shine in the colder months and also when it macerates more with that bourbon vanilla. BUT I’ve got to say it’s a bit of a catfish fragrance because of that woody forward scent that most will not be expecting for a cafe bakery gourmand scent! Afternoon Delight in a bakery scented cafe, ummmm??? More like a fall or even winter picnic in a magically delightful hidden Parisian woodsy parkette eating madeleines and baked goods with your lover or friends type vibe. Lolol! ☺️🥃 🥮🍂🌳✨
It doesn't smell sweet to me, at all. It smells bready, milky, and warm, like a croissant. I keep see reviews calling this sweet and I feel like I'm losing it. Frosting? Wedding cake? No.
this was an instant no for me. it legit smells like a newborn just got done eating vanilla flavored formula and spit up into a fragrance bottle 🤢🤮 i get more of a bready note then cookie, almost yeasty. but i can't unsmell that odd powered milk baby spit up.

Just picked up the fragrance world version of jazz club. It’s pretty solid first tester sprays… sure like many clones will macerate nicely
