- Over the weekend, the House voted to ban TikTok if it doesn’t divest from Chinese ownership, and a Senate vote could come within days. If the ban becomes law, it could be a threat to one of Hollywood's most famous buildings, headquarters to some of the biggest influencers in the country. Ted Chen reports for the NBC4 News on April 22, 2024.

content creation when it generates enough clicks is a real job. Some of these videos, especially travel videos and gaming videos ( for my taste) are more entertaining than cable tv. More people watch online videos by content creators than watch cable tv.

For real. Most of these people kind of intentionally and unintentionally cut corners in life to get where they are because the stupidity of most of us out here. Life is not supposed to be easy. Life is supposed to be a challenge. That’s is what makes life interesting. There are other platforms out there.

I was against tick tock and it's community. But now that the government doesn't like it I'm not so sure what to feel. It was the only spot where some political stuff didn't get censored prior to X becoming a thing. I guess we will see. Maybe the government is making the right move for one

I huh’d at my TV so hard when that individual said TikTok is not like Instagram but like Google. How low the IQ has dropped today. That statement made absolutely no sense. Disturbing to hear people are actually treating it this way.

how convenient that those sites are American companies that steal private info that we know for sure (facebook) and ban content if its not to the liking to the political elites. On youtube you cant even use the g word to describe what Israel is doing
