In general yes you can film onboard. But if you arrive with professional gear and huge lenses etc maybe they might ask questions.I asked the FA if she was ok with my filming (myself and the food and my suite etc) and told her i would blur her face if it was in the shot. She was even ok with no blurring but i decided to blur. In my experience as long as you try be discreet and not film other passengers or FAs they dont mind. I also didn't want to disturb them too much so i made my own bed but i think you need to ask them (especially during a day flight like this one)
Thank you for this review! I will be flying Qatar Airlines in about 3 weeks in Qsuite for the first time! I am so excited! I have a question: my seat is a rear facing seat, which I heard is a true window seat. Do you recommend those or the front facing seats? And is it true that you can order whatever you want, when you want?
Hi Tasnia, thats fantastic! Excited for you too coz its really great, you will love it😀 I absolutely recommend the rear facing seats that are as you said true window seats. Being further away from the aisle also makes it feel more private and its nice too look out of the window (don't forget that also means better lighting if you want to film). And yes you can order from the menu whenever you want but im not sure they will give you unlimited choice off the menu ( like asking for multiple full dining courses)
@@tasniahoque860 well I think the meze starter is amaizng and if they have it on then menu then take the lobster too, otherwise the Qatari main is never a miss. ! As for drinks I guess champagne all the way 😅 but of course just try out everything. I liked the passion fruit a mocktail a lot too!

@@doolyb yeah, they really do like to swap'em around. Nevertheless, for two short hops, one to Doha and then to the Maldives on the leased Cathay 777 it'll do fine either way :-)

Do you recommend any specific dishes or drinks? I know QA is famous for their lemonade. Should I get that as my welcome drink?

i also flew the CX leased plane once from zrh to doh, was my first real youtube video! i managed to get the bulkhead seat which was great!
ha, it just got swapped back to a super diamond....connection times also changed again for like the 5th time since booking.
