This proves that platform doesn't matter. It's all about game sense, mechanical skill, decision making, etc.
There's no real aim assist with controller, too much movement in this game. It's like dark souls... can someone beat it naked with no weapon and without taking any damage while using a guitar hero instrument? Yes. But they'd do a lot better switching to something else. My friend whose never use mouse and keyboard switched and after a 1-2 games was way better.
Also I'm pretty sure the new consoles let you hook up mouse and keyboard to them now to play. (Usually console means controller player and that's what I'm assuming here. You should definitely switch off controller).
I watched the stream where he spectated the number 1 pc player (at that time) who also plays on controller, it was so funny. The chat seething about aim assist etc because they cannot fathom that a controller player is better than them on the same platform.
Its much easier to aim on pc but I find that my melee characters/tanks play about the same on console and pc
This doesn’t prove that bc both games were console only lobbies. If you had a video with him performing equally as well against a pc lobby than it would lean towards proving your comment. Regardless of input or platform preference, this doesn’t prove that platform doesn’t matter.

I love how people think you can’t whip around on a controller like you can a pc, it’s not as easy but it’s literally all you’re sens, if you can use high sens on controller, it’s comparable to mouse and keyboard if you’re good enough
100%. I think the only thing mouse and keyboard rivals is recoil control on some First person shooters like COD. But even then if you adjust dead zones and sens, it's manageable on control just fine
@ yeah in my opinion recoil comes down to the person and how consistent you are, regardless of controller or mnk, if you play legit it comes down to how often can you move the joystick or move you’re mouse the right way the right amount of times

As a console player, I'd like to point out that we don't have a keyboard and mouse option yet. Also that I don't think playing on console with a controller is really bad at all, I main Spider-Man, got him to lord and usually am doing very well with him. It's just about how comfortable you are with controller

Playing a shooter on controller is like joining and eating competition chopsticks. It’s much harder, but more fun for some people. Also just because they are slower doesn’t mean they are worse at speed eating.
Tim should invite the top console players to do a 6v6 vs his squad and see if they can hold their own
Jay3 used to do PC vs console custom games on OW and the console guys would run through the pc teams
BC of Aim Assist strength. He did it with MR and the Console players got 5v6'd in a round. And they lost 3-0 in a BO5. The only thing that determines which input is better is how strong the aim assist is for console. If it's really good, then they're not even playing the game, it plays itself and they do better than PC. If it isn't enough and they have to rely on themselves to aim with the stick, then they get dogged on by PC.
@@neongreenyogurtthe gms he had were god awful look at their profiles w/rs and performances. Any good gm console is giving them a challenge. Also it depends on comps. Characters like punisher and bucky arent as good on console as pc.

On console it really just depends on the chemistry with your controller and if your able to flick fast which as a Hela main it’s hard to find other Hela mains on Xbox. That’s why everyone mains melee and splash damage rivals bc it’s usually hard to aim with just two joysticks. I’ve played fps shooters for a while now and hela for some reason clicked w me when I first started playing. I don’t play that much but I’m hard stuck plat and my pr for a game is 79 and 12 but that’s probably just bc I’m in plat and the game throws completely trash players at you randomly, either on your team or the other.
Hela and Hawkeye were played every game on console in season 0. People just don’t value them for some reason after the nerf.
I play on a scuff controller and it's a lot easier.
I haven’t learned how to flick. I always keep my thumb on it, which is one of the reasons I’m not great.

You can tell by how linearly his aim looks. PC gameplay is far more jerky and precise. Controller movement and aim is a lot more straightforward.

The console players get rolled every time. Its not that they don't have good game sense, its that their aiming is severely hampered by console. That lone limitation sets the two apart. Which is why even Tim talks about melle characters, as the high differential of ranged aiming is completely negated against melle on controller, in fact in many instances movement is better on controller so depends on characters played

Yes there’s def a limitation since feels like it has more control, but saying he wouldn’t be out of diamond is diabolical 😭 he wouldn’t be rank 1, but he’d still be high. The accuracies on the leaderboard aren’t terrible and def wouldn’t be that much higher in pc

For the Wolverine player, I can understand why the chat would think that he is a mouse and key, with the rocket jump showing "space," but the rest of the controls showing the playstation controls.
I am a playstation player btw, my rocket jump always shows "X" and it's just weird that it would only show some of the controls as the platform it comes from, but it's weird that it doesn't show them all

They’re saying he’s using a cronus or zim which converts the inputs. The console thinks it’s a controller. It will still aim like a controller because of how the input is read and it will show as a controller. It makes it even harder to tell if they’re on MNK..

All of Magic's abilities cancel into her left click which cancels into her quick melee which cancels into any of her abilities. She has a left click animation combo and you can actually do this cancel loop so fast that it doesn't reset the animation.

There's one really important tech that Wolverine simply can't do on controller and that's the tech where you use feral leap and then turn 180 in an instant to go the other direction with the tank. Still you can work around this and he's still very useful

Im not gonna lie using the duelsense edge to even further refine your aim setting is huge.. aim is a bit difficult comparatively. I personally feel like they could do something to help it feel better..but im just a diamond player so idk what its like towards the top
You mind sharing what you done w edge settings I’m GM2 changed sensitivity on game 100 times and it still feels clunky but ain’t changed it on the edge custom profile
