Hi Alex,8ve been wat your videos for a while now really enjoying this, it’s something I wouldn’t normally be interested in building but seeing what you have done and the workmanship involved has inspired me to try something different. Maybe not this kit but just something different than cars, trucks or bikes Thank you
Another very enjoyable and educational episode, Alex. Your explanation of the hairspray method is spot-on. You also did a stellar job on that 'boat within a boat'.....a real treat most definitely!
As I was watching, I was thinking a video on tools, glues, and painting would be great. Just a thought. Drinking coffee from one of your mugs as I write this.
Great job on the hull Alex. Your upgrade to the boat launch really lifted the detail. Thanks for the tutorial about using the hairspray trick to create wood effects. I’ve only ever used it for rust or wear and tear on metal. Looking forward to the next video.
Great job on what you have done. The detail on the launch was a nice touch as was the paint job. Will be in Lisbon July 5 -11, unfortunately not going to be able get up to your area.
Olá Alex, excelente trabalho que está a realizar. A parte dos sombreados em todo o casco está mesmo boa. Vai sair uma SANTA MARIA em grande. Abraços e continuação de bom trabalho, tudo de bom..
The boat was not inside. It was on the deck so, you can put it right there. Also there is an oven missing in the kit, but it was also on the deck, so you can craft your own out of plastic. Good job by the way!
Does Tamiya cement bond through painted plastic? In my limited experience no (I could be wrong), and even your fast CA glue at 18:55 didn't take hold very well as seen at 22:07 (the stern/transom railing was coming loose). My preference is to build as strong as possible for a strong foundation to build upon and for the stresses that rigging it imparts upon the model. Great build though, love the size of this huge model.
I mean... no one will see the small boat, but judging by the views of this videos: 2k people actually saw it ;) and I think you upgraded it really nice. Still love your videos, very enjoyable and very refreshing!
Not as easy as if you glued the Hull, before gluing other half... But if you use extra thin glue allow it to hard rock, cure it and bond both halves the hull remains flexible and that allows the decks to be glued after
Alex, always magnificent!
She looks great already Alex, nice update!
Very good job !!

So glad to see you back! You are one of the first modellers i've been watching. I have a kit of Pinta but i doubt i can paint it so well.
You can do it! 👍🙂 Go for it!
Excellent quality work Alex
Thank you! 👍😊
Hi Alex, looking great so far. I really love the way you make a plastic kit look like wood🙂👍
Thank you!

I was a bit hesitating on using it but, in the end looking at the results... I have to do this more often!
So cool
I look forward to the sequel.

Saludos desde Portugal! Gracias!
Nice modelling and instruction. Just finished my little boat on that model, but isn't the smaller one too small more like a canoe?
Yes sir! There is another one, smaller 👍👍
Hola , muy buen trabajo, excelente.
Me pregunto que , si a esta escala , cómo encajarían miniaturas de marineros de 28 mm.
Hey Alex,
may I ask what happened to the Prinz Eugen?
Still building it, took a bit of time to refresh my mind, It s a bit daunting for me as a begginer but im still building it😊👍👍
A question. Is it easy to fit the main deck in the model with the two hull halves glued together?
Not as easy as if you glued the Hull, before gluing other half... But if you use extra thin glue allow it to hard rock, cure it and bond both halves the hull remains flexible and that allows the decks to be glued after
Hi Alex, another great build. Can I ask what glue you are using with the long tube at the very start of the video. Thanks
Hello! Its super glue, CA Gkue
Hey there! could you try and do the Titanic academy 1/400? they/re much better than the old outdated revell version.
If someone send it to me i can. Lets wait
