You'd get wrecked if you were going against a CPS super soaker. Sustained spray, probably more power, and holds way more water. It's cool that you don't have to pump it, but it honestly doesn't look any faster waiting for it to pump than pumping the CPS yourself. And why not get some exercise in the process? Machines are only an improvement if they're actually better than what you can do by hand.

Wow, the Spyra One is amazing. I’ll probably wouldn’t buy it, but knowing the fact that I could spend my disposable income on these types of innovative products brings a smile to my face. The underwater footage of Jinx swimming was a nice touch, Drac. I love it when content creators on RUclips include bonus footage at the end, it must make people like me who watch a video from start to finish feel special, it does to me.

I had it too, it was pump action basically, only it shot when u finished the pump and u had to manually fill its tank, it didn't shoot as far either or with as much force, but was still really cool at the time....
I've gotta say, this is one of the sickest looking blasters I have *EVER SEEN!* now, I know how lots a of blasters have been called "SI-FI esc, but this blaster just looks so cool!! It looks like something from 2075 or something. I also love how it doesn't just shoot wimpy little streams, it shoot "water bullets". I just have two suggestions, maybe smoothing out the front muzzle area, and slightly faster realoading, overall I love it!

There is designing the product in the first place, then several stages of prototyping, then paying for registering the patents. And I'm sure not everyone who worked on this product volunteered their time without payment. While I would never pay $300 for a water gun, this is aimed at people who actually take this particular hobby seriously. It's like people who buy modded nerf guns at a premium.
This reminds me of a water gun I had as a kid. I think it was called a hydro blast? It was black with a yellow tank and a purple handle on top. You would pump the handle a few times to charge up a single big burst of water. It was like a water shotgun.
Imagine modifying this so it holds water to where it's almost frozen, and you just spray people with it and they just start screaming from the icey water sprayed across their chest or back

A true laminar nozzle would slow down the shot as a lot of the energy is expended to allign the molecules. Plus I think most laminar nozzles have slowing filters by design since most can't redirect waterflow at high speed

I hate to bring things down, but if you drop it you can damage it and i don't think your supposed to put it under water like the video shows, just the tip of the nose. I have striped one down there are no rubber seals on any of the joints or around the screen and there's a lot of exposed electrical and other parts inside the casing. I think this is more for older kids and adults that will look after it. Its great fun, everyone that comes to the house is drawn to it. Iv been in the garden mid winter - 5 because every body wants a go. Now we hide it until spring. I think it is still evolving and Spyra are the people to do it. And the customer service is second to none.
I actually have one of these, and I love the fact that he didn't even mention that 1 it says specifically in the manual to not completely submerge the the gun under water which can cause huge damage in the inside, it also says to use clean tap water only because chlorine water can break down the inside. Just wanted to let everyone know 😊

About 20 years ago my dad got me a hon solo squirt gun that was battery operated. It shot a single pulse or short squirt per trigger pull. And it had a Lazer in the barrel to illuminate the short stream of water the color red. The stream of water was nothing like this. I used to set up army men around the bath and blast them. It would be awesome if they put different colored lazers in these. Two of my friends had the exact same squirt gun and we would put floating inflatables in the pool at night and have Lazer water battles at night.

I personally think that there will always be a place for OG non-electric water guns like the super soakers, and these new upgraded model brands. I’m always going to love super soakers because of their “simplicity” but I’m just as happy to use automatic water guns as well.

We have two schnauzers. The miniature one does not like to swim but the standard one loves it. Goes in by himself and swims like a champ :)
