I got so much from this interview: 1. Learn a few concepts and just watch the prices play out live. See if it consistently plays out, then move over to demo and see if that proves consistent, then move over to live account if you are consistent and do the same thing. I realize I have been approaching my trading all wrong, all backwards wondering why I can't get consistently profitable . 2. If you look back at how you used to be and you don't cringe, you haven't gown much. Get 1% better each day. Just awesome stuff, I really like this guy's way of thinking. He resonates with me.
I personally resonate with FVG more than anyone else you've had on the pod simply because our journey is so similar . It was a pleasure to watch & I got lots from this - thanks Rizz & big up to everyone 🍀

Enjoyed this video, and have been following Zach for a while on Twitter and YT. Although we did find out some info from his past, it might have been somewhat more advantageous had the different stages of his journey been more thoroughly dissected as to how old he began trading, how many years in did he find ICT, how many more years from there until he became profitable, during those years what were the biggest struggles, etc... On many of Riz's videos he goes into those details which is why I have listened to many of his podcasts, but I'm a bit bummed the picture wasn't as complete here. Felt this interview wasn't as structured as previous ones or that Riz didn't put too much effort beforehand. Either way, I did enjoy watching:)

29:18 The biggest take is that ICT concepts can be too deep if you try to implement every single aspect. Find the one that resonates and put the rest in the backseat till you need it

Funny thing I started my journey on demo, and soon after that live fund til I lost 80% in a CPI trade. After that, I went back to demo to make sure I was ready for it. Save capital to put in to the market. Not borrow because I understand that I will put a stress on my like anything else.
Its kinde of a moment of joy and excitement every time you upload a new podcast.
Im thinking for 2 weeks now moving to futures, 3h from now i will have more insights, 1-2h after i might make my decision.

I have been thinking of moving to futures to be honest, i think futures prop firms forces u to be discipline and not fuck up what u gain and not gain too much so fast as well
Yeah let me tell you that trailing drawdown is a real bitch lol
But if you manage your positions and emotions well that shouldn't be a problem. I do agree that it makes it more challenging compared to FX firms.
Darwinexzero if you wan't to be paid based on realistic expectations, licensed broker and an actual plan to work with longterm profitable traders. People just don't understand the math of it and go with the pretty numbers prop firms promise.

Great streaming. No doubt Fair value gap is especially popular among price action traders and occurs when there are inefficiencies or imbalances in the market, or when the buying and selling are not equal. Fair value gaps can become a magnet for the price before continuing in the same direction.

the market is the market no matter what you trade ...I don't get when he said when he change to futures he became profitable 🤔😅 futures is regulate and forex(cfds) not ..that's the only differents ...and in one you use contracts and the other lots 🤷
He transitioned from trading options to trading futures. Options is a completely different animal.

i realy love these podcast but we only see the ict traders here and on other podcasts all i hear is ict , ict, ict , hahaha. maybe someone that trades completely different would be interesting. you talked with someone in another episode that you think there are people that make probably even money with the moon cycles and what ever.
