First I want to apologize to the greatest American wrestler to date, Coach John Smith on the below rant. Hopefully he’s doing the Olympic Games because he is a fantastic broadcaster.
Here’s to hoping ESPN next year limits DC to doing just one day of the National Tournament because 3 days of him was terrible. He wouldn’t let Rock get a word in edgewise during the Second Round, he didn’t call 90% of the match and just drowned on with his stories. I mean his stories had stories.
In the Semifinals even JB made fun of him and his flip flopping of the P4P best. And again his nonsensical stories were layered with more stories and the podcast hyping was ridiculous. Did he really need to start bring up particular UFC B list fighters…..No he didn’t.
In the finals he did ok.
I love listening to DC call a UFC fight, just not a fan of him getting to babble on and on and on for 3 days of the National Tournament.
