Do firearms make it easier for people to commit heinous acts of violence? Possibly, but any heavy machinery, large objects, sharp objects (Canada just had a mass stabbing due to firearms basically being outlawed there how), chemical and biological weapons and also explosives are the ways criminals would enact their will onto others.
