I’ve heard about this game a few months ago, but never really looked into it until now. I expected it to be some sort of silly, furry game where you became different fursonas just for fun while the story kinda carried you through like deltarune or undertale. I expected the whole thing to have some sort of wholesomeness to it, and have roughly the same charm as the Toby fox games. I think I was wrong. This game is almost disturbing with how many unusual and untimely fates you are met with. Im not a furry, and I don’t hate on the furry community either, but this seems like it would be a living hell to experience. It has a certain uncanniness to it that I can’t quite explain. Then again, I don’t know anything about the story, so I’m going off of glimpses such as these, though I might be interested in trying it out soon. Wether that will change my perspective is yet to be seen.

While also weakening him causing a very quick demise by succumbing to the already progressed disease. If you were to still play as him he'd be unaware where he is again and also forget english and shit and collapse from the disease 10 minutes later

Edit: I realized there is a disguise when you first encountered the black latex Beasts, my point still stands Extremely dumb idea but what if there was a transfer that you played with the rest of the game once found, and that was kinda hidden in a back room but was Suttle enough, and this transfur was controllable by Colin. Or he could just find a fursuit. And he could sneak past some sections now it's completely up to the player if they want to use this or it could be used for a certain section and it involves a modified version of the best ending, where Colin just gets a shot and they wait around a little bit to make sure it worked and Dr. K finds the human test thing (forgot what it was called) then they leave.
could be a cool replacement to the easy mode from the original game, as you would have to stop at the blast doors anyway where the first set of endings are (if you had easy mode you would need to stop thee due to both the good karma and bad karma with puro being him transfuring you anyway)

Been trying to get into this game but I find it difficult! Was wondering if anyone would give insight to the appeal for them? Like, the process of transformation and what goes through a characters head and what they experience? I’d love to write something like this with my own characters but I am struggling with getting fully immersed into the idea.
First of all, you have to understand that 90% of this game's fans are looking for the fetish of transformation. The appeal comes from being changed into something other than human. Like, suddenly growing paws, tails, or furry ears, having new body parts to explore is curious and exciting. Some get off the idea of being more than human (having better parts than what humans have), some get off the idea of being subhuman (like, being a more feral animal). Other set of people like to imagine the feeling of being transformed, like the discomfort of having your limbs melted and reformed into something else, your face contorting to grow a muzzle, ears twisting into animal ears, etc etc. Another way you can look at it is the fact that 99% of the transformation in the game is latex-based, like those stretchy rubber material, but in this case they're still drippy and melted. Some like to fantasize being stretchy and malleable, like having a body that's not exactly fixated to one form, it's like being above-human in a way since latex is more flexible and durable than flesh. Another thing is the mind control/non-consensual aspect (I know, bear with me). Nearly all the transformations depicted are a result of Colin (main character) not being careful enough and got attacked as a result, struggling in vain to escape but ultimately got assimilated. It plays into the submissive fetish of being not in control, and it's taken one step further by most of these transformations doesn't let Colin keep his mind, but instead being hijacked or overwritten. Some that don't lets you imagine Colin being stuck in a precarious position or body that's not his, again playing to that loss of humanity. On the flip side, some people like the idea of sheer indomitable human spirit, where Colin, despite being a mere human in a facility of souped up latex monsters ready to devour and assimilate him, managed to survive all that and escape unharmed. TL;DR, the main appeal of transformation is imagining being turned into something non-human.

It's interesting how this game plays with the boundaries between Fetish and Nightmare Fuel - I mean, I can imagine there will be (at least furry) people who are gonna find it 100% arousing and people who are gonna find it 100% horrifying, while most(?) people must find some of both in the game (like I do - in my case I like the concept of Transformation, but I definitely do NOT like the concept of Mind Control/Wipe).
But if you dont wanna become a furry watch like only one video and then watch like 10 videos or shitposts of another game (that isnt with furrys) and boom you dont find anything.

While also weakening him causing a very quick demise by succumbing to the already progressed disease. If you were to still play as him he'd be unaware where he is again and also forget english and shit and collapse from the disease 10 minutes later

Extremely dumb idea but what if there was a transfer that you played with the rest of the game once found, and that was kinda hidden in a back room but was Suttle enough, and this transfur was controllable by Colin. Or he could just find a fursuit. And he could sneak past some sections now it's completely up to the player if they want to use this or it could be used for a certain section and it involves a modified version of the best ending, where Colin just gets a shot and they wait around a little bit to make sure it worked and Dr. K finds the human test thing (forgot what it was called) then they leave.
could be a cool replacement to the easy mode from the original game, as you would have to stop at the blast doors anyway where the first set of endings are (if you had easy mode you would need to stop thee due to both the good karma and bad karma with puro being him transfuring you anyway)

Been trying to get into this game but I find it difficult! Was wondering if anyone would give insight to the appeal for them? Like, the process of transformation and what goes through a characters head and what they experience? I’d love to write something like this with my own characters but I am struggling with getting fully immersed into the idea.
First of all, you have to understand that 90% of this game's fans are looking for the fetish of transformation. The appeal comes from being changed into something other than human. Like, suddenly growing paws, tails, or furry ears, having new body parts to explore is curious and exciting. Some get off the idea of being more than human (having better parts than what humans have), some get off the idea of being subhuman (like, being a more feral animal). Other set of people like to imagine the feeling of being transformed, like the discomfort of having your limbs melted and reformed into something else, your face contorting to grow a muzzle, ears twisting into animal ears, etc etc.
Another way you can look at it is the fact that 99% of the transformation in the game is latex-based, like those stretchy rubber material, but in this case they're still drippy and melted. Some like to fantasize being stretchy and malleable, like having a body that's not exactly fixated to one form, it's like being above-human in a way since latex is more flexible and durable than flesh.
Another thing is the mind control/non-consensual aspect (I know, bear with me). Nearly all the transformations depicted are a result of Colin (main character) not being careful enough and got attacked as a result, struggling in vain to escape but ultimately got assimilated. It plays into the submissive fetish of being not in control, and it's taken one step further by most of these transformations doesn't let Colin keep his mind, but instead being hijacked or overwritten. Some that don't lets you imagine Colin being stuck in a precarious position or body that's not his, again playing to that loss of humanity.
On the flip side, some people like the idea of sheer indomitable human spirit, where Colin, despite being a mere human in a facility of souped up latex monsters ready to devour and assimilate him, managed to survive all that and escape unharmed.
TL;DR, the main appeal of transformation is imagining being turned into something non-human.

It's interesting how this game plays with the boundaries between Fetish and Nightmare Fuel - I mean, I can imagine there will be (at least furry) people who are gonna find it 100% arousing and people who are gonna find it 100% horrifying, while most(?) people must find some of both in the game (like I do - in my case I like the concept of Transformation, but I definitely do NOT like the concept of Mind Control/Wipe).
