Thank you! Even though I do download box files already made, it is alway good to know how to do something yourself. 👍🏼

How do you account for Kerf?

Dude, there are individual lines in this program, how can I turn them into one piece?

don't you have to adjust for the size of the laser dot ?

You’ll need to work out your kerf. Boxes.py has a good test for doing that.

I think it might be easier to use the. boolean function to subtract the tabs from the other part.

you didn't take into account for the kerf of the laser. So you will have some slop or play because of that. And when you centered the vertical tabs, it's using the top of the horizontal tab and not the corner of the box side. If you use your ruler tool, you will see it's not the same measurement from the corner to the first tab on each end of the vertical. so it's not really centered. as long as you use the same process, it should still line up. But if you dont make the sides the exact same way with the same steps in order. then the sides won't line up with the bottom at the edges.

I have used this process many times without any issues. Not saying you’re wrong, it works for me.

There are websites that can do this for you in seconds and you can download it in whatever file you want all for free

True, but then you never know how to do it yourself.
