Hey mate! There was a store like this near were I lived as a kid. Wooden floors, wooden shelves and everything from beer to groceries and everything in between. Love it. Thanks Ken.😁

There is a place down the road in Raymond, California, called the Raymond General Store. This place is super cool. I always stop there during what we call a Raymond Run. Leave Fresno, left turn as you enter Coarsegold. Mountain roads until you get to Raymond. Then back to Fresno. We stop and get snacks. They have on one side a small restaurant and grocery store. The other side is a bar and poolroom. It's been there for more than 100 years. Wooden floors and super cool workers. It is definitely a blast from the past.

@adventureswithkendall Grew up in Coarsegold, been to Raymond and Knowles countless times. Those places as well as Oakhurst are rich in history. If you plan on doing a video on any of them contact me if you'd like.

Wow, I didn't know places like this still existed. How do you find this stuff Kendall?!

Finding it was pure luck. We had been to visit Hillcrest Reedley where they have a small train I frequent and we wanted something to drink. This store is just before getting on the highway so we decided to go there. It was clearly an old store, but we had no idea it would be a time capsule.
