I love this song to begin with, it is just absolutely everything thrilling about Richard Strauss, then to hear Renee just throw herself into it - and I love her expression at the end, as though she's had such a blast singing it! Just sheer indulgence of the best kind. Including her *ahem* holding the final note so she doesn't end before the orchestral coda... little scallywag! But somehow, I don't care. Because, you know.
