  • Have you ever been in a library studying away when that one person comes and sits at your table and they relax you so much that you can't do your work? Well that was what I was aiming for in this video and it actually happened to me when I was in the library choosing my book props.

    I remember being in library studying, and when someone next to me induced brain tingles with their studying sounds i would stop what i was doing and let myself get into a tingle, lull trance. Lol at the time i didn't know it was ASMR.

      I'm 48 years old and I only just discovered ASMR about 3 years ago. I had been doing exactly what you described since I was in 3rd or 4th grade and I always thought that what I was experiencing was just one more weird thing that only I was feeling. lol.

    It's actually funny how some people do things in super slow motion in a library when they're trying to be quiet, even though in the end they just make more noise, it's quieter but it takes so long time and actually takes more attention, than if they would just act normally and they would be done in few seconds :D (Like taking off the jacket, opening the backpack, opening zippers)
    This is a good video, first one like this that I've seen! I'm so relaxed and ready for bed!

    • @jrmp20thlover
      @jrmp20thlover 8 лет назад

      In this case I think the slow motion was for Asmr purposes so you can enjoy the sounds.

    Finally a true authentic ASMR video that actually gives me some throwback feels to school times when I would sit in class and try to do my tasks but couldnt because all of the paper and writing and breathing sounds around me would make me so sleeeepy .. back then I was not able to name that phenomenon and its just so crazy that this is actually a thing and that there are peope like you on the internet. Thank you! Lots of love from germany

    My first ASMR experience was when I was a young man and I was sitting on a bus and, in the seat in front of me to the right was an old man reading a book and he was mouthing the words he was reading. It put me in a trance and ever since then I would try and recreate that sensation. Now many years later I'm able to recreate that sensation at will just be remembering a recent ASMR encounter. For years I though I was the only one who could experience this and had all kinds of weird theories on why this happened. Then I stumbled across utubers who also knew this and found out I wasn't alone.

It just looks so interesting. I like the crinkly sounds of the sheets that were wrapping the maps and your notepad. What I have experienced as a student. 1. The more silent you try to be. The more noise you make and more glances you get. 2. Nobody likes the one with the sniffles that has to make sniffle sounds in the silence of a classroom every 30 seconds. 3. To make up for the bad experience to the fellow students. Offering gum will quickly change their mood from annoyed to happy

    This is an absolutely fantastic video. I especially loved the crinkling sounds your jacket made as you were taking it off... I was wondering why you were wearing such a heavy jacket :P
    all of the slow deliberate movements and the tiny sounds that came from them were fantastic triggers. Great job!

    I just love this video. It is bringing me right back to primary school. When I experienced asmr in primary school, apart from the usual tingles, it used to make my right thumb tingly and weak and I couldn't even hold my pen for writing.. Iv never heard of anyone else with a similarly weird tingle..

    • @TheASMRAngel
      @TheASMRAngel  4 года назад +1

      OH MY GOD, I get the EXACT same thing!! Not in my thumb though, my entire hand!!! It takes me about 20 minutes to get my hand working again. Not so long ago, when we worked in buildings with other humans and not from home, I was writing some stuff down and a cleaner came around and started wiping down the surfaces near me. I completely melted and my hand stopped working, I had to sit for ages to try and wake it up again 🤣

    • @lauramurray2826
      @lauramurray2826 4 года назад

      Wow really!! That's amazing to find out someone else experiences something similar! I remember from primary school my teacher slowly walking around the quiet classroom and the noise of her shoes on the floor would give me asmr and my thumb would get all tingly and weak. I'd try to keep writing in case she saw me but it was rediciulous 😂 it was like I'd completely lost the use of it and it would last minutes 😂

    • @TheASMRAngel
      @TheASMRAngel  4 года назад +1

      @@TheASMRAngel the last time I experienced asmr like that was when I used to work in a hospital as a nurse. When I would sit at the nurses station to do the writing and the clerk would come up beside me and start routing through and organising all the files, I would just melt and stop writing and hope she didn't notice 😂
