He was a brilliant British actor.
And best of all, he was very funny.
This is my favourite childhood movie (and I still love it). I saw it in the cinema, had it taped on Sky television and watched it on vhs repeatedly, had the action figures and comics and now I have the blue ray. I even like Super Mario Bros (still has Bob Hoskins and Silvestri on board). Great memories.

Almost 2020 and this track is still good. "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" was a masterpiece in its own right and so far, not many films are able to capture the style of mixing humans with cartoons with as much care and nostalgia as this movie. A lot of films and shows nowadays don't try new things as much anymore (but don't get me wrong, there are animations out there that are able to break the mold from time to time). This film, despite having a lot of "cartoony" parts for kids, had small moments that adults would be able to sympathize and empathize with. And it did all that with a stylish flair! I remember when I was around 5 or 6 and I kept replaying the cartoon parts, laughing over and over. Watching the movie now, 18 years of age, and I truly wish I was able to just travel back to the 80s. Bob Hoskins was brilliant and he isn't going to fade away with time anytime soon. Sorry for the long comment that basically says: Thank you, Mr. Hoskins.
What a tremendous actor. Even just for this movie alone.

I would love it if they ever made a valiant and Valiant movie but I would love it very much for Steven Spielberg to direct it. A movie that is not LBGTQ related a simple back to normalcy animated movie.
