That looks SO COOL and he looks SO HUGE ON THE SPLASH I've never played mr skarner but it feels like they respected his identity by keeping the empowered autos, the shield, the cc and the iconic ultimate.
This reworked kit looks like it’ll Be the most fun thing to play around with. And it actually looks pretty balanced no unnecessary max health true damage execute needed like smolder
This seems pretty perfect. It got rid of the limiting spire passive, traded out some guaranteed power on ult for other areas of his kit, and seems like it won't change how he feels to play.
New Skarner looks like he pairs hilariously well with control mages. Specifically, Anivia, Neeko, and Seraphine seem like hilariously effective partners for absolutely insane cc chains and making jungle team fights absolutely terrifying.

They need to have a run of One for All when they release Skarner rework so we can have a lobby of 10 Skarners dancing with an "Old Skarner is gone!" caption.
Well, since we're losing the old Skarner I do hope some of his old mechanics get moved to a new champion. Not like that always happens or isn't a lot different than before. Think how old Sion's ult kind of got moved to the new Aatrox ultimate but old Aatrox W and passive mechanic hasn't been ported to anything yet. I'm thinking it would at least be interesting to see a champion that has Skarner's old passive where auto-attacking anything lowered all cooldowns. Kind of like Illidan from Heroes of the Storm. Maybe that would be interesting to try as a champion where hitting stuff keeps you really mobile and whatnot. Maybe we could get that for the Shyvanna rework since she already has some of those mechanics in her kit where hitting stuff lengthens her W mobility, and gets her Q and ultimate up faster.
2:15 I feel like the e is the only hard part about him because if you hit enemies to early it drains the bar fast, you dint get the extended range on it until you hit something as it’s about to end. If you hit something too early you get the opposite (you’re bar goes drops down to like 30%)
4:05 and if you have the rock picked up before you e it goes back on cooldown, so you can just pick up another rock after your stun empowered auto combo

The thing I hate the most is when the new or reworked champ comes out and I tune in to check it out and the content creator stumbles and stutters trying to read abilities and they dont know wtf they are making the video about. Here I can see what the champ is all about and the champ is looking cool

Suppressing 3 people is GAME ENDING. It doesn't matter if it's unlikely or difficult, late game if it happens just once a pro team will just finish. I have to imagine this means he will be underwhelming once balancing comes out.
I love how bulky and chunky he looks now. gives off Urgot vibes. That's a huge improvement. Also he has a %HP DoT Let's goooooo. I was really hoping he would be some kind of 'poison' champ.
its not bad but his kit feels like it works better inside the jungle than outside. I kinda looks bad for ganking specially because of how far away the lanes are from the jungle now Cons in my opinion: no movement speed on W no auto stun and slow on E and replaced with a slower skill shot poppy W (could stun multiple targets multiple times before with E) Can't Q the target while in ultimate Seems to encourage fights on the jungle or invading but it seem to lack damage Well we will see when it comes out
That 3 hit passive gonna hurt. Also if fed/hard to kill, having a pull suppress on a basic ability is gonna make squishies cry. I like the kit though. Also we all keep saying it but instead of making new champs they reaaally need to hit lots more champions that they do NOT have to rework, but maybe just update their kits to be better.
