Man these little 0-6-0 sets are great I still have a 0-6-0 that I got 4 years ago and is only now starting to show its age and even got another 0-6-0 last week.
I bought this set back in April and did a review video on it. It's a great set. By the way, is it true that this set existed a few years ago and you brought it back?
When i say this i want cars that we see today if they were still around. And some elephant car's and wagons like the cage carts that go on the flatbeds and the flatbeds and then the dig carts to. These things would sell if you do your research and make them just like the real thing.
@@BachmannTrainsUSA and I have a question about the strobe I know when you trun your locomotive on and strobe continue flashing do you prss F5 to trun off the strobe lights off?
One of Bachmann's worst sets. Here's why: -They did nothing to change the price to adjust for less content inside the set -The locomotive will be inoperable in 6 months
The utter GAUL of calling this set the "Yard Master"! What yard has only 1 pitiful freight car in it? Modern sets come with about 3 freight cars plus caboose as standard. Thus, in my opinion, the "Yard Master" should have at least 5 freight cars. You could skip the caboose technically, since a yard switcher is primarily making up and breaking down trains WITHIN the yard. But plesse, give the poor kiddos some freakin' rolling stock!
First off, the name is really just for marketing, the reason for the 2 pulling stock is that the set is very cheap, about $120, and this set is a starter set, so that people starting with the hobby can have a loop of track, a small train, and for cheap, and can expand their fleet of trains. I do agree that this set should have gotten more rolling stock but there are more sets with more pulling stock for more money and look more better.

bachmann rerelease all of your older sets with nickel silver track challenge
Agreed, mines rust so easily
@@Badumpop it'd be nice if they'd upgrade the quality of models that come with sets as well. nothing major, some proper wheel bearings would be nice.
I have this set and have DCCed this train. Nice branch runner.
We need a 2-4-0 locomotive like the Montezuma with closed vestibule passenger cars. Along with sound effects for the bell and whistle.
Bachmann actually make a new set challenge
I actually have that set in it’s amazing good starter kit
Yes i have it to
The new method of advertising is great! I'll miss the old song though.

I have two of these types of locomotives and one I have had for 4 year and is only barely starting to show its age mechanically.
I think you just got a dud.
Worst Bachmann Train Set. Period.
@Samuel Olesek they have been mechanically upgraded, believe me. The new ones are very smooth running and can do a pretty good crawl
@@Alerrecks yep just bought it and only bad part about it is funnel gets hot when smoking
