I may have missed it, but how did you cut the radius where the foot meets the seat?

Awesome video series! Your efforts to make this build series and share the plans is much appreciated.
I just started my reel build and am working on the reel foot now. The video doesn’t show the drilling /tapping of the holes used to secure the reel body to the reel foot. Do you have any recommendations on how to locate these holes? I could mount the foot on a rotary table and dial it in but I’m thinking it may be better to finish the reel body and match drill the holes using the reel body as the guide.
    Any suggestions?

When it was all said and done, I ended up drilling and tapping these holes parallel and just spending some time to make a asymmetrical countersink by hand in the frame to properly flush the screws. It would have looked a bit nicer if the holes were angled, but it works either way.

Thanks! That approach seems to be what other reel makers have been doing in the videos I've seen. I may go this route for my initial build. I'm making four reels and may try both approaches to see if there's any significant difference.
