    A most beautiful Filipina granted me an interview, but little did I know that she had an amazing story to tell - she's much more than just a beautiful face! Most Filipinas grow up in the province, and many of them stay their entire lives, but this Filipina left home at the age of 11 to pursue her dreams. Let her tell us what it's like to be a most beautiful Filipina - with a mission!

      @@TheFilipinaPeaPlease allow me to reiterate that Marisol said at a very young age she wanted and was determined to marry a Foreigner. That promise to herself was the motivating factor that caused her to leave her poor province and move to the city. Her dream to marry a foreigner was her driving force. So I say again the old foreigner does serve a purpose to help save/rescue the very poor province Filipinas and their families. He was 45 and she was 18. Let's do the math: he's got the money and she's got "the Beaver"🤗! An even swop ain't no swindle! I'm just saying!🤔🤨😉

      In defense to those 15 year old girls it’s the environment we are exposed that our peers use fowl language. I had to adapt to that type of language coming from the Philippines to the US. I didn’t start swearing til I got into high school or in college due to my language learning English still not yet perfected. Learning English was difficult. Struggled learning and understanding the words. But living in the US for a long time I’ve mastered written and speaking. It just took time to adapt to train your brain to have English as the primary language.

      Dont be blinded by beauty, they all are. Find the one who is studying and working hard before you met her and keeps doing so regardless your money.

    By third grade she skipped a grade and by high school she became valedictorian.
    After receiving two scholarships she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in English.

    Wow Pea this has to be the most impactful and meaningful video you have ever produced. I see so much mutual respect between yourself and Maricell. That understanding and empathy comes from a shared struggle that has evolved into a success story for both of you. I have never seen you interview a fellow filipina or a foreign guy where you have been at times awestruck until now. Maricel is undoubtedly a remarkable young woman as are you. From my perspective as someone who has travelled extensively all I can say is that you are both remarkable human beings who should be immensely proud of your respective achievements. You both display humility and even downplay what you have both been able to achieve in a really short time but it has to be said that both you and Maricel are the epitome of what it is to struggle from adversity to true independence. Thank you for interviewing this remarkable lady as she is someone who can look you in the eye and match you which is an extremely rare event.

      If you go to Australia, England, Ireland and even in the southern states in the US the english accent is different. In Asia India has also a different accent almost patterned to England. The Philippines has a neutral accent that the west can understand. That’s why its the number 1 call center of the world. Its also called BPO business- Business Process Outsourcing.

    I really like the variation in the discussion. As an a American born and raised there, I sometimes hear people here in the US saying that they can’t understand the accent so I step in as interpreter (depending on how they come across). I appreciate the attitudes found in the provinces, especially the sense of fulfillment part, which I find healthy while being practical. My upbringing there probably explains why I find Spanish mestiza’s super attractive. Thanks for bridging a little bit of home back to the states!

Maricel has experienced the types of hardships and challenges as a pre-teen that bring grown adults to their knees. And she's done it with such grace and dignity that it surprises me not that you're a bit in awe of her Pea... 😃 ...As most of us are...Fantastic interview!...By the way, those words that you think you're mispronouncing? That's exactly what I say to people about dogs. First you build trust and respect, then comes love. I deal with a lot of dogs that have been abused or neglected and they often have difficulty trusting new people... but people are always in a rush. They want the dog to like them so they push to far too soon. They want the dog to wiggle and wag when they see them because it makes the people feel good about themselves. However if a person tries too hard with a dog the dog will have a much harder time trusting them and it will take much longer or may never happen at all. Show them that you respect the way they feel. Be someone that they want to get behind and follow, and they will come to you in their own time. At times you have to show them that you can handle them at their worst and if you do this in a calm loving manner, they will build respect for you as well. It's very mutual and people are no different, except that animals are much better at listening to their instincts.

    I am from the United States and come from a working class background (father was a carpenter). However, I was absolutely stunned to hear you both talk about your childhoods and the enormous responsibilities that you both had growing up. I left home before 18 but I am shocked to hear this story of leaving home at such a young age. As I hear this, I am mentally comparing you 2 women to western women. Here is my open question. Is your background similar to other Filipina women? If it is, could this go a long way of explaining the incredible difference in how Filipina women and western women view older foreign men? Western women essentially see older males as throw aways, that they have no value. Filipina women, on the other hand, value older males more than younger men. There are no western women I have ever come in contact that would even remotely come close to either of you in background.

    Wow what a story! I am glad she survive to tell the story. Many Filipinos need to be careful dealing with Westerners, and making sure that they have good character and good family structure because you’re taking a major risk, moving all around the world in the waiting arms of a possible monster. I have a Filipina girlfriend and I am glad we found each other.

    • @briane173

      Many _Westerners_ need to be careful dealing with Westerners. The social and ethical mores we took for granted growing up have disintegrated to the point where I don't know _who_ to trust, and have lost an ability to size people up before risking any type of intimate friendship or relationship.

    • @2000ViperGTSsubscribe
      @2000ViperGTSsubscribe 2 года назад +1

      So your comment if one does not have good family structure, men are not a good choice with your comment "making sure that they have good character and good family structure". That is sad you would feel this way as I am a product of a broken home, put myself through college, started a company and lead a good ethical life. I put everything into my mate with love, caring, attention as I do not have it from my abusive family. I enjoy supporting my mate and treating her well, so I would respectfully get you to reconsider your comment as children we do not have a choice of family dynamics, so family structure is moot as we age and it is all bout, as you said, good character alone.

This added a sense of genuine truth being expressed and me very eager for More ❤️ This interview brought out aspects of survival that Filipinas and Filipinos go through to just be able to live, that westerners are totally unaware of. Marisol is indeed a beautiful woman, as are you Pea, and I believe the next portion of this video will be very much of a impact for the audience.

      That’s something I also found interesting. My Filipina is about ten years older than these two with very similar backgrounds and I noticed that the Pea pretty much speaks English in an American accent, that Maricel definitely has a Vasayan accent though not a strong one (and did I hear correctly Maricel has lived in the States?). My wife has been living in the U.S. in an area where there are few Filipinos for 18 years now and she still has an accent . It’s interesting that the one who hasn’t been to the U.S. has the American accent.

    About the accent, my filipina wife and I have some good laughs about it here in Florida. Two examples.. years ago she cleaned house for a few of my customers. They were talking about changing the bed sheets, and of course her filipina tounge says bed sh*ts : ) My customer immediately looked at me for an explanation. Another time she was with her filipina friend talking about the best sights to see, my wife mentioned the beautiful beaches here, and of course her tounge said beautiful b*tches.
