I don't know why people have been trolling this performance and their perceived chemistry on twitter. Yes, I kinda miss Gwen's music, but she is entitled to take a break and enjoy singing with her man. Blake has added a cool dimension to her life and in many ways given her such a unique out on where she was before (stuck with a cheating husband who betrayed her and left her with the children; and dealing with the humiliating media over a divorce). I love they are so in love. I love that he cares for her AND her children. He's like a big ol sloppy puppy dog who just wants to lay in the sun and roll in the grass; always by her side. She so deserves that kind of love ... however long it lasts.
She's a pop and rock icon. So it's understandable why people miss her. Cause personally I miss her and music too.

Sorry, Gwen is not exactly country...she also seems to always want to look over the top - pretty? Which may highlight the fact she is a Plain Jane on a good day....maybe focus more on the talent...this song is very much today's country music...a little painful to listen to IMHO...

They’ve been happy together for 6 1/2 years and are married now. They are both long term people. Gwen stayed with a cheater 20 years, and Blake stayed with one 10 years. They have very similar personalities, values and life goals. They have blended 2 busy careers, 2 different lifestyles, homes in 2 states and done a beautiful job especially when you also throw kids/custody issues, constant media scrutiny, and haters/doubters into the mix. They’ve already overcome a lot just to be together and are thriving. Time will tell, but this one looks like forever to me.

Although she looked absolutely beautiful and I love them both, they’re a match made in heaven, absolutely perfect together. Something was definitely off during this performance, I don’t know if it was so gloomy because Kobe died and the room wasn’t ready for this or what... but the sound wasn’t great. This wasn’t their best performance. Love the “wedding dress vibe,” and can’t wait till they get married. Beautiful couple.

That’s not what was said at all. This particular performance was off. It was the first time performing it together and a very emotional night. There are tons of videos here on RUclips of live performances by them of their 4 songs together and most of them sound great.
They look good together and they did great on that stage performaning together, no matter everybody say Gwen is off key but it doesn't matter has long they having fun and she nervous. Love u both and guys rock it.

People saying Gwen is off key: she is not supposed to sing the same melody as blake but something similar to his melody, at a certain distance from it. I am really not sure she is off key, but I would say that the melody she is supposed to sing does not fit super well with the main melody, could be better arranged.

Something seemed a little off with the performance. Blake’s mic seemed to be turned down way too low. When Gwen came out, she first seemed a tiny bit off key but after she got back on key she seemed embarrassed.
I think she started out an octave lower than she is in the original song. Where she started out in this performance, in the original recording her and Blake are singing together. She is an octave higher than him. Here she is in the octave he was in in the original recording. That's why she sounded so weird. She should have started out on the right octave to begin with.
@beckysnay Your comment reveals you're not even close to a singer. You might sing in the shower, but that doesn't count. True artist always try to sing live a different way than the original. They changed it up a little and it was perfectly fine. The only people upset are the wannabe singers like you and the fools above

All the touring, recording and singing through the year's has warn on their voices however it stills sounds good. Between singing, touring and lots of interviews wears on vocals. Also if ear monitors aren't good or sound engineer isn't good that can throw a singer off.
Oscar or grammy's performances in history doesn't have good sound engineering...they tend to present songs or music in its rawest n purest...i never seen n heard songs n music performed at grammy's record-like...n as a music lover , you tend to look n hear records in this platform n say " well that is really a good song"... if u want a record-like song performed...thats where artist do lipsynching...to enjoy good records you to appreciate these records when it is performed live when sound engineering works with all elements(mood, emotions, critics, audience, clothes n appearances) presents to them when performed...

He had been for awhile. His dad was prematurely gray. He puts something on it when he’s on tv or the Voice to cover it up a little. When he’s in Oklahoma he lets it go natural. Gwen has posted some home videos where it looks very gray.
