    Pretty certain 4 and 5 are the exact same thing and the CompTIA people were just trying to add to the list for a challenge on the test. When you test that theory you're doing it/running the fix. Network+ from CompTIA eliminates a bunch of the steps there.

    Please use the term theory correctly. A theory is an hypothesis that’s been confirmed.

      The term is used correctly. If your solution is correct then you have establish a theory. If your solution doesn't work then you come-up with another solution (and possible theory).
