It's unfortunate but not only does Inzoi use GenAI (it's optional but still), but it will also use Curseforge for mods. Overwolf which owns Curseforge donates money to the IDF in support of the ongoing genocide of Palestinian people. AND not only that but the Sims have spoken about how they support GenAI and I think (don't quote me for this) that they plan to use GenAI. And as we all know the Sims 4 uses Curseforge for mods as well.. So to Paralives we go!
i’m aware of the curseforge thing and it’s in my script for the inzoi vid! this was recorded before that video. unfortunately that video keeps getting pushed by new info coming out. the sims planning on utilizing generative ai is something that i’m honestly at a loss about how to navigate at this moment in time :(
i was considering starting a petition and seeing if i can get any momentum with getting signatures to show EA the play base does Not want AI but im a pretty small creator and unsure how much good it would do.
@@silleepigeon i would definitely sign the petition! i know a lot of people who would. maybe you could start it and see if you could spread it to some bigger ccs? like knowing lilsimsie's politics, she would totally support your petition and share it if you could find a way to get her to see it. if you're on simstwt, the community of smaller content creators and screenshot/story posters is pretty connected and good at getting important stuff spread far!
that's devastating about inzoi!! i would definitely watch a video about generative ai.
i LOVEEE this build. i fear i am a materialistic person and layering and STUFF is my FAVORITEEE especially in the sims - this turned out so good. it's truly gorgeous.

The Merlin Trilogy by Mary Stewart is my favorite fantasy book! It follows Merlin from a child until his death, and it’s amazing! Full of subtle magic and while it’s not wlw or mlm, Merlin is asexual, not having many love interests or any interest in relationships for that matter. He’s focused on his goal the whole book lmao.

i RAN to the comments when you said you might dye your hair a natural ginger - DO IT!! I have done that for a couple years and I LOVEEE it, it's generally pretty subtle but now i think of myself as having dark ginger hair rather than brown hair so it's weird when it's NOT red. i wasn't 100% sure when i first did it but no regrets. you could totally rock ginger hair

@@silleepigeon undertones are so annoying like just... be easy pls😂😂 i would imagine there are also gingers with different undertones that may work better with cool toned? you could research that and see if there would be an option for you!!
@@silleepigeon dont be!! im not ginger but i have family who are who are cool toned. im a redhead (auburn) and im neutral leaning cool. it totally works!!
I have feedback! 1) As someone who doesn’t use a lot of CC, I don’t mind that you use a lot of it in your builds at all. I wanna see your vision come to life and if that means CC, then go for it! I can just put in some vanilla stuff when I download it.
2) warm tones suit you so you’d look great with copper colored hair!
3) I also love Deadpool

oough i also hate landscaping 😭😭 i like building, but landscaping is so ugh. so i just end up never building, i just download already existing builds and edit them and then go crazy doing interiors, which are my fave to do anyway

i always recommend hell followed with us in queer fiction, it’s a young adult post apocalyptic setting about a trans guy escaping a cult and finds himself in a group of teens whose base is the local lgbt teen center :) there’s a lot more to it but that’s the best summary i can do

Cc tip for victorian houses: lonelyboy's victorian set and Pierisim's Maison Meulière. Those sets have some roof decorations for victorians to like the triangular space below the roof and above the windows (i have no clue what its name is)

you should absolutely read a day of fallen night by samantha shannon (though its an absolute mammoth). my favourite book ever. i also recommend smart ovens for lonely people, a short story anthology by elizabeth tan - though i'm not super sure if this is actually available in the US but i absolutely recommend having a look!! a lot of the stories are very queer and elizabeth tan's writing is sooooooooo worth it her prose is amazing

omg. deadpool & wolverine. so to preface the mcu has, possibly unfortunately, become a special interest for me, so despite all very valid criticisms i still love it so much😂😂 however one of my favorite things is to tear it apart. what u said about your prof's comment - i feel like captain america civil war was kind of about this!! the idea of the avengers being unchecked, not answering to a government, (which then begs the question, what kind of government/which government could effectively be the avengers' "boss") - there is sooo much to think about and it's so interesting to hear your take on superhero movies in general!! recently, including endgame, i do feel marvel has kind of... missed the ball (?) on a lot of things and ignored character development and such. idk. anyway dp&w - deadpool is my favorite movie so I came into dp & w with high hopes but at the same time knowing it was not at all meant to be serious? or at least i didn't watch it with seriousness. i was more interested in how they would go about bring dp into the mcu and i would never have expected they did it how they did!! you have great points about the essence of deadpool and it not being very multi-faceted in terms of how they characterized wade. despite all this i have watched this movie three times and loved it every time and i may now be a wolverine girlie (in a nonbinary way, ofb ourse). ironic that the deadpool movie is what did it 😂😂
okay living for your comments!! i liked hearing your perspective and i do agree i think that’s something they kind of touched on in civil war. but i also totally agree they stopped really working on character development and i think lately stuff has been misses! i used to really love marvel. i never was a super fan type who read fanfic or anything but would go see the movies in theater at release and certainly saw endgame at release… and yeah the drop off since has been pretty harsh. i think i also just don’t super love a lot of the new hero’s they’re bringing in… like i find antman to be the most vanilla boring character every tbh & also personally found captain marvel to be like… really shallow virtue signaling feminism. SORRY if im being so harsh about something you love I get why you like it and i used to love it sooo much too!!
@@silleepigeon tbh some of my excitement actually directly has to do with the fanfiction possibilities 😂😂 the more content there is, the more fic writers can trash and recreate!! also... I AM SO GLAD SOMEONE ELSE SHARES MY SENTIMENT ABOUT ANTMAN. I have always found him boring as hell but people seem to really like him?? i don't know😭😭 glad to know i'm not alone in ant man hate. also 100% about captain marvel. i find it so funny how it's dissed for being like "too woke" and "too feminist" when i completely disagree it's literally just... a female superhero. imo there's no underlying messaging that challenges the structures of misogyny. it is not at all radical nor feminist. and the self aware pandering was iconic, i think no matter someone's feelings about marvel they could watch dp&w and agree with everything that was said 😂😂 i feel like the only character that could achieve that and be greenlit by marvel would be deadpool, since it fits with his whole brand!!
for a queer book rec that i really enjoyed was Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas, it is YA which i normally don’t enjoy as much, but this book was super fun!! It’s sooooo cute while also having serious topics and handling them well. it’s about a trans boy who summons a ghost and chaos ensues lol. u can look up the content warnings as it has times when he’s misgendered etc. definitely recommend taking a look at the summary as i didn’t do a good job explaining it lol

Good video! A book recommendation from me is a historical fantasy based on China called She who became the sun (and the secon part of the duology He who drowned the world) it has a lot of queer characters and I love how gender indentities are explored in the series. Not a romance though

@@segiitaff6421 you put the folder labeled “mods” in your mods folder and the rest of the files with random numbers and stuff in the file that says “tray” :) then it should be in your gallery!

Your point about the windows in the first few minutes is so true! And honestly certain windows that come with certain expansions should be part of base game... Like that city living window that is literally the same version of a base game window but with only one tile... And overall the sims team has released some very similar items across different packs/expansions/etc, like i don't own everything but one time i was seeing a bunch of furniture that came with different add ons and like why were there side tables that were so identical! If its bc they have different swatches they should just update the swatches of the item that was released initially.
Ok going back to the windows, not to be the negative person but im low-key disappointed by the swatch update bc several base game windows and doors didn't even get new swatches so they still hardly match with other base game pieces🤡 like if i want to build a house with green windows and doors i literally have to mix and match the bright green with the pastel green:/ and it looks bad!
also was playing yesterday and the way none of the friezes have had their swatches updated so I can have fun pink windows or red and then the friezes don't match bc they hardly have any colors...
@@jamandgreentea ough yeah !!! i hate to be nitpicky about free stuff bc i know a lot of people will tell us to just be greatful.. but i swear sometimes ea puts stuff in this game and then forgets about it completely (friezes)
I love the idea of the victorian huose/ psychic shop, there is actually a series of books called the reven cycle in wich one of the protagonist live in a house like that as her whole family is different kinds of psychic!
They are nice books if you'd like to check it out, it's more character oriented than plot

Hi! You mentioned struggling to find hutches? They’re my fav item to furnish spaces. You can find them through the room furniture but I find it easier to search with the category search. Choose surfaces and then the shelf icon will be able to give you lots of fun hutches and étagères and things

this is turning into a rant now i am so sorry!!!but i skipped through one of the early access vids and you could see gen ai everywhere throughout the game, the craziest i’ve seen is this fast food place that has dalle levels of nonsense plastered everywhere. the food menu was genuinely upsetting to look at lmao the ai is so blatant?? i feel like i’m going crazy hearing people go on about it being an optional feature when it so obviously is not. it is baked into their game assets. not that it being optional would make it better😭
i have to stop typing now i’m getting too heated haha but yea good to have someone talk about inzoi that is not part of their early access campaign lolol and congrats again🥹

and yeah the early access content has certainly left a… very particular impression on me. i’m not sure i particularly like it as an advertising campaign. obviously sims is guilty of it too if you look at the ea partner program but yeah. i feel like it should be more clear these are advertisements. even if creators aren’t being paid, there is a level of exposure there etc. i could go on but ill save it for my video!
