Excellent review. I have been watching Project Farm and many other contractor and handyman videos for years and both of your videos were excellent. Can't wait to see what you come up with next. Keep up the good work!
@ZapaDeeBOOM Gotta say, you made my day! Lots of work goes into making one of these videos and as a small channel, It's hard standing out next to greats like Project Farm. Comments like yours makes all the difference, so I appreciate your kind words and your support. 🙂
Wow.... This channel is right up there with Project Farm. Well done, guys. It usually takes new RUclips channels months (if not years) to reach the production (and especially narration) quality of this video. You guys seemed to have pulled it off right from the start! And as a RUclips connoisseur ; ) I really appreciate you guys taking the time to do a volume equalization pass; no chasing the volume the entire time you're watching the video. Thumbs and Subs!
@floorpizza Thank you so much for taking the time to write this. It means so much to us that you enjoyed and that we are providing quality content. There is a lot of negativity out there, but comments like your keeps us motivated and keep making content. Again, thank you so much for your support.🙂
.....Impressive, I never understood why my decorative lines in the walls never looked straight and clean. After watching this video, I tried the best tape ( recommended by you guys) with the caulk and made my lines look beautiful for my sons room. Thank you! Kepp it up.
👋 Hey! Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a lot that you enjoyed. Definetly working on our next videos. We wish we could post more often but with full time jobs and. Family it's really hard. Hopefully one day we will get sufficient support to be able to do this full time and come out with more content. Thank you so much for your support!
Nice work, but my biggest frustration with the paper-based tapes, is when they tear along the paint edge when you remove them leaving remnants behind. This even happens when the paint edge is lightly scored with a putty knife to break the paint line. I didn’t see that happen to you. I usually use tape in corners, such as where hardwood floor meets the wall or where ceiling meets the wall. 3M’s Platinum is plastic, so it doesn’t leave slivers when removing. It also has a nice design feature of tearing off the roll by hand leaving a square end. Please add it to your next test.
Agreed I hate when that happens it's next to impossible to get them off in some spots without damaging the paint. It seems to happen when you let the paint dry for awhile before removing the tape.
I wish you tested frog tape in another way. Mask the edges that are needed or in a design for a geometric wall. Then rather than take the time to caulk the edges, you run a damp sponge or wet wiping cloth along the tape. This activates the Frog Tape's swelling. Then it's ready to paint. The sticky gel does it's thing, and it will peel clean lines. Takes way less time than running a lot of caulk.
I hadn't heard of the caulk trick. It's a good one. A trick my mom taught me is to apply the tape and then paint it with the color the tape is covering first. Let it dry then paint with your new color. It works similar as the caulk trick. It still allows intrusion on the initial coat but since the color is the same you can't tell, then it is sealed for the new color to be applied. Probably slightly better since caulk can attract dust even after being painted over. Of course this method only works on a transition from painted surface to painted surface. The caulking trick is great for paint to unpainted transitions. Keep the great videos coming!
Wow very thorough and very helpful! I'm using it for crafts and I'm going with the green frog tape. Juvenile probably using smaller pieces with crafting it's important to get really clear lines. I subscribed because you never know what kind of tips you're going to pick up that you can apply to crafting. The host is entertaining and information is easily understood and again very thorough.
Awesome job. When painting walls just paint over the tape with the original color first. You will get the same results if not better as with the caulk.
These videos are awesome. Please do a comparison of Duck Tape Gorilla Tape Clear and Colored. I am a fan of Gorilla Tape (black and clear) Thanks for making these videos. Now that I've found your channel, I'll be letting my friends and co-workers know about these reviews.
Thank you so much. It really menas a lot to us that you enjoyed. Thank you so much for the recommendations, we will take a look. Again, thank you so much for your support.
@chad darr A lot of work goes into these videos and support like yours makes all the difference. Thank you for supporting our small channel. We will keep at it to help people make smart decisions when it comes to product selection. Thanks for the hint on that channel!
Thank you for the kind words! I'm not, but good guess, probably caught the accent. Maybe we will do a Q&A on a 100k subs. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel.
So, sounds like the results are that while 3M has a large range of products (didn't know they made Scotch brand), as usual, theirs is about the worst ones available and would be better to spend that little extra on your tape, PPE, etc. for a better product than what 3M makes.

Yes!!! They even tried to compete with frog tape, but didn't come close. Thanks for supporting us!
I looooooove Project Farm videos too!

Thank you so much for your kind words and support!
Keep it up
Thank you so much for all your support Dan!
Came here for tape and now im leaving with silicone 😂
Duck masking tape adhesive is far too strong, most of it stays behind on whatever you're working on when you remove the tape.
my favorite channel on youtube🫶🏻🫶🏻
Thank you for your support!
CAR AIR FILTERS, PLEASE! 🎉
