Love the spiritual analogy. The only success we have had with minimizing Japanese beetles is to spread milky spores EVERYWHERE. It is pricey, but by the third year we had one bettle where we would normally have 30 to 50. The spores are a bacteria that grows in the soil (not harmful to people or crops), but it eats the beetles in their larva stage while they are under ground. It's been 4-5 years since we saw them diminished. We are going to reapply this year bc they have started to return in number this summer.
Yes they are everywhere this year and have just taken over despite our efforts. Time to step it up while also being mindful and careful not to harm the land…it’s such a learning process. Thanks for the idea of the milky spores. We’ll look into this for next season for sure!
@@TheForagingFamily is that just for beetles or all insects in the garden? Please share the mixture of percentages!❤️, Love ALL your videos. God's richest blessings always!!
@jeanette3482 Neem oil spray can be used as an organic pesticide or insecticide to treat flowers, vegetables, trees, and fruit crops. It can also help control fungus. Here is our recipe: Fill a 1-quart bucket with warm water. Add about 1/8 teaspoon of liquid soap. 2cups of white distilled vinegar. Stir vigorously Slowly drizzle in 1 teaspoon of neem oil while continuing to stir. Pour the solution into your spray vessel. Spray all over plants and the soil around the plant/tree; spray either early morning or closer to evening (when the sun won’t scorch the leaves)
May you be encouraged by this verse. Keep praying for them, my sister 🙏🏾💕 Ezekiel 11:19-20 “I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Then they will follow My decrees and be careful to keep My laws. They will be My people, and I will be their God.”
Neem Oil didn't work for my collard greens, maybe it was because I mixed it with something else 🤔. New Subscribers here 👋🏾. We like how you incorporate the Word of God. We are all about that!
Amen!!
