I went Kipling crazy 15 years ago, and cannot bring myself to buy another brand. They are the best!

Love your video and agree with you totally. I purchased only leather luxurious bags when I was younger. Now I’m older and wiser, I pass caring to impress anyone, besides I don’t have the resources as before. I was looking for bags that are light weight, durable, well made, practical with adjustable long strap and lots of pockets for daily essentials. Kipling fits the bill. I have over 20 of them; backpack, wristlet, messenger, cabin ….. The price point is great. I love particularly the cross body bags leaving hands free and keeping my belonging secured. I don’t have to worry that the bag get scratched or damaged any more. I wash them in warm soapy water and they come out brand new and smell fresh. To think that I couldn’t even get a strap or dust bag of a high end designer bag with the money I spent on all these Kipling bags …..

Love Kipling. I travel to Alaska every year where it rains 80% of the time. Can’t bring my Dooneys so I bring my Kipling crossbody every time. It’s also washable, which I love. Great video.

I know this video is a few years old,but one of the things I really love about the brand(in nylon) is that I throw them in the washer in cold water, and they come out perfect! I even put them in the dryer for a few minutes sometimes!

Wow! I love the red vintage Kipling Creativity Pouch. I immediately looked for one and found one on Poshmark! The black D&B strap is a great idea, so I plan to use a black D&B strap with mine as well. Thank you so much for the inspiration.

This is my favorite bag. I have the same exact bag. The Elysia in True Blue. Gorgeous color. I also have the Kipling new money wallet and the Kipling Wolfe Roll pencil/cosmetic case. All in True Blue. There is something about that particular color of blue that just instantly called my name. I am so glad you like yours. Kipling is addictive, but worth the money. TFS!!

Kipling gets us all in the end. If you have a lot of bags and running out of room (could just be me) Kipling is perfect as you can flat pack them.You guys get some great prices in the US! In Europe (where Kipling is from, Belgium), you cannot get Kipling accessories for the prices you have.

I hated these bags years ago when all my friends were into Kipling. Fast forward many years ahead and now I LOVE them!! I went on vacation with my LV speedy and was uptight the whole time. The next vacation I took my Kipling. So comfortable and easy! AND my mother-in-law spilled her drink on it and I didn’t flinch. My phone was even in the outer pocket when her drink spilled. I just took a napkin and dried it off. Phone was perfectly dry & fine in the pocket. Another thing- I get way more compliments and questions about my Kipling bags than any other purse I own!

I agree with you. We just love love our Dooneys but Kipling’s are a wonderful line to enjoy of great quality and style that are so easy to care for. I have a Kipling travel bag with a matching crossbody, and a cosmetic bag (same style as the red one have) with a off white background and pastel butterflies on it . Any those light colored bags are very easy to keep clean. Love them. Sometimes you have to give your body a break and wear a lighter weight bag and still look and feel good about yourself. Well I did order one from Amazon. We will see when it gets here. I tried the dept stores but not there. The plastic zippers are from a long time ago used on Reaction bags before and were very comfortable. I'm not into casual bags but I do have problems so I have to watch what weight I carry. TFS.

I got it today and it's not bad.compared to the one I saw at the store which were quite larger and stiffer. The Dooney bags are not as flexible and the weight of them is quite substantial. Too bad it's so casual but I can understand the popularity for the lightweight that it is. I think it's a keeper but.i don't think I would get more.

You can just throw your kiplings in the washing machine.I was and still have a big collection of AWL Dooneys. But my kipling collection is well over thirty items ( bags, wallets, pouches, backpack, and travel cases. And I use them all ! Enjoy

I had a Kipling backpack for my gym clothes, but it was nowhere near the quality of my Northface. I’m not sold on the brand. It’s not very sophisticated for my work life. Possibly a good throw around Saturday/Sunday daytime bag. I’m happy you’re enjoying yours. I think you chose the most put together style and color of the brand.

Camille Leahy Kipling do more than one line including leather. Most of what you see on RUclips is their basic line, but they do sophistication in nylon & leather, see their global collection.

Hi, Ivana! I have a Kipling bag, too....it was a QVC TSV several months ago. I watched the presentation a few times and at first I thought “how ugly is that!” As the day wore on the darned thing grew on me and before I knew it I was ordering it. I couldn’t believe myself! I’ve used it only a few times, it’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be and since I’m retired I don’t haul around as much any more and these Kipling bags are hard to fill! Lol And I don’t see it ever wearing out, either! There’s actually a smaller one I’ve had my eye on this past month or two but I am on a no buy ban and I’m being good. Well, except for the Fossil Sydney satchel I snagged on Cyber Monday. Fossil had it for sale for $74. I grabbed a brown one. Enjoy your new bag!!

Yep, trying to remind myself I have others to buy for and so far so good. We don’t give Christmas gifts to our adult children any longer, they pretty much buy themselves whatever they want anyway, but we do have 8 grandkids to buy for plus 4 of those grandkids just had birthdays in the past 6 weeks so those kids can get expensive for this grandma and grandpa!

Hi, I am a new subscriber and a lover of kipling ;-) I have 4 bags and 3 wallets but on the lookout for more lol. I live in the UK so unless I shop on ebay the Kipling items are expensive over here. I did have 5 bags but my Mum "borrowed" one about 3 years ago fell in love with it and I didnt get it back ;-)

You need to go to the thrift stores around u, I use to live in gurnee and I’d find a lot of my bags, dooneys, Kipling, Coach there :)

Love your bag! What is the real dimension, Height of the central main compartment, the one with the zipper? It looks smaller than the snap front and back compartments
Thanks CM! I measured the interior of the bag up to the zipper. It measures 8". While the lip of the outer compartments is a little higher than the center zipper, they don't go down all the way to the bottom of the bag where the center compartment is. They both measure 8". I have two Kipling bags. I love them. One is really small for going to gym and one is really big with a fun pattern on it. I got them both on sale at Macy’s. The small one cost $30 or $33 and the bigger one cost $40.

Hi Maryann, I'm sorry for the late response. I think it would be great on you. I'm 5'5" so I'm not much taller than you. The crossbody strap is adjustable to any length just by sliding the buckle. The satchel straps are short, but they still fit over my shoulder which is the way I prefer to wear it. I hope you decide to try it because it's a great bag. TFW and have a great week. xoxo :)

Maryannmay I think that would be okay too. The handles are not that long. There is no way the bag could be close to dragging on the ground.

I just got this bag a few days ago and really like it. It's perfect! Mine is the taupish color, don't remember the actual color name. I like your blue one but already have a dark blue bag (Dooney) and didn't want the same color in something else. This will be great for just about anything. I can use my heavier leather bags for times when I don't need to carry a lot. I always love your videos. Hope you're doing well.

Hi Rosalinda, I don't see why not. I don't think any handbag has age parameters around it. I say wear what you love and it will make you feel special. I loved the LeSportsac bags which is another nylon bag brand when I was in high school. Now as an older woman I am loving Kipling. In fact I find it's great to carry a lighter weight bag as i get older because the heavy leather ones hurt my shoulder. So I say it's perfect! TFW and Happy Holidays! xoxo :)
Love your video and agree with you totally. I purchased only leather luxurious bags when I was younger. Now I’m older and wiser, I pass caring to impress anyone, besides I don’t have the resources as before. I was looking for bags that are light weight, durable, well made, practical with adjustable long strap and lots of pockets for daily essentials. Kipling fits the bill. I have over 20 of them; backpack, wristlet, messenger, cabin ….. The price point is great. I love particularly the cross body bags leaving hands free and keeping my belonging secured. I don’t have to worry that the bag get scratched or damaged any more. I wash them in warm soapy water and they come out brand new and smell fresh. To think that I couldn’t even get a strap or dust bag of a high end designer bag with the money I spent on all these Kipling bags …..
