I was right because we met you guys in the finals and the blazers winning it all was one of the best few weeks of my life as an 18-year-old kid. Dr. J made dunking a basketball mainstream. He made it cool to dunk the ball. He was a great player who doesn't get talked about nearly enough.

  • @jmbauzo6180
    @jmbauzo6180 7 месяцев назад +19

    He is the original small forward GOAT. (Note: The own Dr. J said that Elgin Baylor was first.)
    He was the best in the ABA and the NBA.
    He was the first player to really walk in the air.
    He did not invented the dunk but he made them a work of art.
    The first small forward to dunk from the freethrow line.
    He created his own style.
    He used Converse shoes... not Nike's.
    Apparently the new generation of basketball analysts think that basketball started in 1990 because they almost never speak of the great Dr. J.
    For me he is the BEST.
