Actor Brad Pitt and his ex-wife, actress Angelina Jolie, have been fighting each other in court for nearly a decade. The latest filings concern a chateau in France and whether Jolie was allowed to sell her stake. Jolie claims Pitt wants her to sign a non-disclosure agreement that would prevent her from making disparaging comments about him, including mention of the allegations of prior abuse. Jolie countered that the NDA is too broad and not relevant to the sale of Miraval. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber breaks down the lawsuits.

The are divorced, however they still have marital assets that have not been delt with since they own them jointly many of them and they are also partners in. This was the same when he divorced Jennifer, they still had a production company together, sold it years later, however they were in agreement on it because they agreed on it together. Angie is just trying to make things difficult.

My dad was no prize but after my parents divorced my mother never said a bad thing about him. I didn't realize what a wise thing that was at the time. I remember my aunts and grandmother saying mean things about my father and it really made me feel so ashamed. She is being a selfish and vindictive person and her kids are paying for it.

What part of this makes you think Jolie should be shamed and not Pitt? I'm a huge fan of Pitt's work but after hearing all the actual facts I think both of them showed some of their true colors...I was watching with a skeptical eye knowing she had custody of the kids and could lead them to feel certain ways but they're late teens with their own mind and to see what the oldest kid wrote about him on fathers day says a lot.

The way I understand it is, Jolie has been using NDA’s to her advantage and will not let Pitt see them. Yet she claims he’s not allowed to use NDA’s himself. This is why the Judge has granted Pitt’s motion of needing to see what those NDA’s said and now Jolie’s team needs to produce her side of what the NDA’s said in correspondence w/Stoli and anyone else.
No, she was fine with him using NDAs. She agreed to sign one in their original deal. He tried changing the NDA conditions and that's what she had the problem with. It's not using an NDA's itself.

I sure am grateful that when I was a kid and my parents divorced they left me out of it completely (other than deciding custody) and neither said one bad word about the other to me.
This is gearing up to be another "Johnny and Amber" type of drama. That tweet from Pitt's son is dripping with pure hatred. I find it hard to believe that kids that young come to that depth of negative emotion without outside help.

Also, the fact that someone on that flight, and not Angelina, had reported him and there was enough evidence that the FBI got involved and then doubled down on that when it was dismissed says a lot.
This is so much deeper than people think it is, and Brad's narcissism and power plays is more than obvious when you see the NDA he tried to make her sign that was completely irrelevant to the 3rd party deal.

Of course, we don't know the intricacies of The Jolie-Pitt family dynamics, but from observing Brad Pitt - he seems to have been a very calm, cool & kind guy. Wow his adopted kids seem to be most aggressive toward Pitt. Shameful really. If Pitt had an addiction issue and is now in recovery there are many issues that need to be talked about in family therapy sessions. I hope Pitt realizes it’s a process and doesn’t cure over night.
I really appreciate that your comment is constructive and calls for accountability without shaming either participant, especially without jumping to blame Angelina for the way her kids feel about their father. There are 100% cases where parents pit (pun un-intended) their kids against each other but for the most part, when so many kids appear to be coming to one singular conclusion about a parent, that means theres something we didn't get to see.
Maybe the kids will even warm back up to Brad as he heals himself and puts in the work. Maybe both parents will learn to let a few things go and focus on their kids, and create healthy boundaries in order to do so.

Jolie never believed in giving the kids boundaries, rules, expectations and did not correct their actions. Of course Brad was the bad guy. Jolie treated them like little adult friends. It was a free for all. It’s my belief Brads drinking was spurred on by trying to parent the kids while Jolie undermined him with the kids. Plus she’s cra cra.

Well if Brad was abusive why has no other woman come forward? Particularly Jennifer Aniston. Brad was drinking and smoking pot throughout their relationship. Angelina's past behaviour is far more questionable than Brad's. In fact in the scheme of things Brad is well liked because he is kind, Angelina on the other hand, well people stay away from her because she is cold, and not well liked. Nobody is saying Brad is perfect but I tend to believe him more than I believe her. Angelina has shown us that she is a vengeful woman which is rather fitting of a BPD.

Interesting because everything I heard from Billy Bob about Angelina was positive. They just reached a point where they were going in different directions. Angelina wanted to adopted a child, Billy Bob's children were getting older and he wanted to travel with his band. He didn't want to be the father she wanted him to be. They parted friends.
