ABOUT MAKEMATE1
In the global idol debut project, MAKEMATE1, the boys will realize their dreams of becoming idol singers. The boys will overcome their language barriers, cultural backgrounds, and different levels and become mates, and some will be each other’s Checkmates, the rivals. The boys have been training hard day and night, and there’s a special system, Mate Rule, to assess them. In every round, they will be divided into two teams, and their teamwork and individual skills will be evaluated. The living icon of K-pop, XIUMIN, is the main host, and Solar, HANHAE, Vata, INGYOO, and Kim Sung Eun join in as CMATE. Among the 36 boys, who will get the chance to debut and make their dreams come true? The first challenge of the amazing boys who wish to become the new K-pop leading boy group begins now.

As a stay i know how hard it is to cover skz songs
The boys did a great job
Thunderous is one of the difficult songs to do cover, As a Stay, I can agree this team did a great job. Everyone stand out, stable live vocal and their own styles , this is really watchable and fun.
Yup gotta really hand it to them and when Jo Min Jae did that blues run ad-lib vocal near the end I nearly lost my mind. His musical intuition on how to find special elements in his vocals and move them outside the predictable box is so refreshing in this game. Love his work so much.
The group seems to be debuting with a perfect balance.
May all members remain in the finals.
I’ve never seen this program before but they just Checkmated everyone else. This group right here needs to be official and signed somewhere. They were all on point and in sync. They have the chemistry and brotherhood feel on stage that makes this song so impactful in the first place. ❤

They all did really well but Han Yuseop had especially great vocals and Takuma's expressions were really engaging to watch
They made this STAY happy, they honored the original by Stray Kids and still had moments that they made their own. Great job!
They did so well. I like the fact that in Changbin's part (Satori), he spoke in his own way than to try to sound like Changbin. It was brilliant. And also the adlibs were so brilliant. The stage presence too, it shows they had great fun doing the performance. As a stay, im so glad to see them cover this song.

THIS STAGE IS WOOOOOW!!!! As a stay I can see they really captured and delivered SKZ's aura and confidence. This song is hard to perform but their live skills is just wow. I love all their tones. I am now going to watch this show to know these amazing boys

Covering Stray Kids live is almost suicidal, because the level of complexity of their songs is incredibly high. but not in this case! These guys are damn talented.

Miraku isn't there. The member who participated as a Japanese is TAKUMA. The member who sang the intro and the last song is LIN, who is half Korean and half Chinese.
Miraku is on the opposing team.

Im not too sure who these individuals are, but the boy in the orange hair perfectly captured Changbin's essence in the beginning and Han's iconic verse. He really took my attention throughout the entire performance!❤
