Amazing Personality. I still remember him as Avinash from Sailaab. i just loved and adored his paring with Renuka Shahane and the serial is my all time best and i still binge watch it for them and then him as Anand babu in Hum Saath Saath Hai is just unforgettable. His smile is so warm and full. 90's era was really different. it was all heart.

Such clarity in thought. Such humility and eloquence too. It's only now I realised that I have grown up watching this actor. Wish to see more of him. And hope he is doing well in life. We often forget actors who entertained us back in the day. They just fade away somehow. It should not be the case. We as audience should keep in touch with our entertainers through social media etc and request them to keep working as I am sure even they love doing it.

Mahesh Thakur was also in a completed and unreleased movie called Naam Kya Hai produced by ABCL (Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited), this was around 1996-97, I’m surprised he forgot especially as it was directed by Sachin. Would love to hear about that movie.

Thing is that actors like Mahesh Thakur holds a big experience in working in television serials and Bollywood movies in which he as experienced many success and failures, acceptance is key end of the day. Guy has opened up and clearly which is an eye opener. The whole black buck case has been tampered fully despite being a criminal case yet no decision has been made in the last 26 years yet those involved walk freely and are carrying on with there life as normal. Agree that it is not easy to be around many court cases etc but why put yourself in it in the first place.

One thing Im observing in all these Sid's interviews with yesteryear celebrities' or TV stars is that pretty much everyone is looking very good for their ages! As a kid of late 80's through mid 90's who have seen these stars as uncle figures, it gives me hope as I constantly struggle with ageing and mid age crisis in my mid 40's! So thank you Mr Kanan! P.S. -Although I wish these people tell us the secret of their youth beyond the clichés of exercise and healthy eating!
